No, navigable waters can't be modded. This is just a dynamically created model with a ground texture. Eye candy.

Thanks for the info... not sure when I'll get time, but whenever I get back to modding, I'll definitely have a dig through your code, looks like there's a lot I could learn!

My playstyle isn't really the aesthetic-detailing approach, so I'm unlikely to actually use such a tool... but I just wanted to say that technically, I'm really impressed with what you're doing here. Very clever use of the modding system - I didn't think adapting constructions to the terrain was even possible, but seeing how you reconstruct the information from height queries opens up a lot of possibilities. I also wasn't aware there was any way to statically anchor things to the terrain while in a construction tool either, thought it would always just follow the pointer.
