Report a translation problem
To be honest, no idea if it will work with molotov flame. You could try copying the attachment line from decompiled molotov and adding it to qc of the model you want.

I did actually consider looking into making this one have system similar to one frying pan mod I saw once (by Ellie, i think). The basic idea was that the model itself would change to more broken and beaten version after been used to kill zombies.
That won't help with 3rd person model, unfortunately. The 3rd person animations are actually part of the survivor animation and not the weapons itself. The model is just attached to survivor's hand.
Is there a way to use your flashlight position for all the melee? with a script or else ? or it's linked with the model?
maybe change fps of attack animation?
