Thanks all for the kind words. I've the last several months trying to learn the route building basics of the editor and have been working on a route in NW Pennsylvania. Don't know if I'll ever get it done or not. I had about 400 hours into it and had to start over because of computer crash. Very frustrating.

Another great Winston sccenario! I have to echo a comment below: only 2 more to go. I have to echo Oliver's request: "Can I have more?" I noticed the police presence, like the first one at the edge of town, just looked like he was shooting you with radar. I think the local police look at tourists from Boston as easy prey. Nicely done, as always. You hardly ever have the cars all lined up properly, but that is the fun part. Thanks for your efforts, we do enjoy them!

What a heap of fun that was, Winston! Moreover, I do b'lieve that this was my first night-switching scenario, by golly.
I fully agree with your assessment that rooting-out the cars and sorting them out adds a really big element of realism and extra enjoyment to a switching exercise such as this.
My sole complaint is that I only have two more to go in the series. And since it's a year old, it doesn't look like you're making another similarly delicious ensemble at this time.
So I do desperately hope that you are moved to produce some more, Winston! These are top-notch TS enjoyment. Many thanks for all of your hard work.

Thank you for the kind comment. It's a great route. I may do another scenario or two at some point in the future.

I liked it so much, thanx...congratulations.

I love the downtown area of this route. I wanted to mix things up a little bit just make the senario a little more interesting. A few adult beverages, a holiday weekend, a couple of good looking babes flinting with one of the switchmen, the police fit right in. Glad you had fun.

Fun, fun, fun! It took me several tries to complete this one, what with choosing the wrong cars, computer crashes (unrelated to the scenario), and a full rebuild of Windows 7. The "police presence" lends a very fun degree of realism to this challenging scenario. Great work. On to Part 5!
Thanks,
Marc

richardst6924,
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
IMHO finding and then cutting the cars is switching/shunting at it's best.

another great one...glad all cars are not in correct order...makes it real.
winston  [author] 15 Feb, 2013 @ 1:11pm
The FA and F7 buttons are a big help in finding the correct consists.

Very nice. Subtility is needed to select the correct cars in Portland.

This is part 4 of a 6 part set. The set will play better and make more sense if play in order.
Comments welcome.
