hi any chance to update to 1.0? This is best hauling bot mod so far. they deliver resources to construction and can be used on caravan camps. compared to "misc robot" mod this is a lot better version.

Truth. Though the RoboJack also works really well and helps a lot in the early game.

that's why i only use the hauling, mining, and cleaning bot. the hauling bot needs to have it's areas dedicated to doing a job and not left with working the entire map or they will wander around doing jobs during raids and such and get killed.

it is best to just use these to pick up stuff off of a farm or to haul from one stockpile to another and not to replace hauling altogether.

I have all of the other bots. Giving them the skill to do a thing doesn't mean they will take the place of the other bots, as long as you don't give them the workTypeDef for it. They only get queued when it relates to their job.

The construction bots often get caught in wander loops and cause massive lag when replacing floor tiles. The whole thing is pretty buggy but since Misc. Robots aren't updated anymore it's better than nothing.

there are dedicated bots that do mining and construction and growing. the "mining bot" does mining and the other two bots are made by another modder. don't know if he ever updated them but he had a construction bot. problem is the construction bots can't build roof tiles.

I edited the xml file and gave the hauler bot Growing, Construction, and Mining skill, and this fixed the compatibility issues for me. Without these they often get stuck when they can't remove trees/rocks/walls that are in the way of their hauling destination.

i use hand me that brick and i never hand an issue with hauling they always just drop the stuff and keep going.

it's not compatible with other robot mods. you might need to redownload both mods since it could be a buggy download.

pretty sure this mod can doesn't always play well with hand me that brick. i'd guess its because they cant deconstruct, so if you order the construction of a wall overtop a stand of trees the robot will try to deliver bricks to a blueprint that cant accept them because the tree is still in the way.

i've had it happen a few times, and either forcing a npc to cut the tree or just deleting the tree fixes it. obviously not your fault, figured it would be helpful to mention for anyone getting odd errors.

you need base robots, and base robots needs to be loaded above this mod.

You can set zones to a single robot which they are not allowed to leave otherwise you can't control them like a pawn.

must be a unique issue since I use drug labs to make coffee and all kinds of drugs. meds and everything.

you must have mod incompatibility issues.

if you can't resolve it just use the "robot area" tool and forbid bots from going to the table.

just make a zone, select the tiles where the tables are, then invert and have you hauling robots set to that area.

I've noticed that the hauler bot will try to keep my drug lab tables clear.
When a pawn puts items on it to make meds the bot will take the mats back to the stockpile, while the pawn is on his/her way to get the other mats. So the bot and the pawn are battling back and forth.The pawn tries to make meds and the bot tries to clear the table...this causes me to have to recall all the haulers to get any meds made. It only seems to happen at the drug lab the other tables are fine

then you didn't install it correctly or you have other robot mods.

this needs to be loaded below "base robots" too.

When I craft a hauling bot it doesn't give me the base for it like it would for a cleaning bot. It just takes the resources basically.

The hauler robot I've constructed doesn't seem to do anything. I'll move to another area when I change where it's allowed, but won't haul anything or do anything, not even wander. The only other robot mod running is the one required for this mod. Both are up to date.

It's normal because the robots have nothing to do. the game makes them keep looking for a job. You should use the "robot" tool bar at the bottom and set them to only work in a certain area. When the jobs are done just recall them all.

There is nothing i can do about it. It is just how the game works.

I keep getting lag spikes when there is no hauling to do, and my fleet of 5 robots are idle. As soon as I recall them, the spike disappears. Is this normal? Can this be fixed?

you should look at the job splitter mod it could help your hauling robots.

If this mod requires another mod you should add it in the required items for this page so that when people press subscribe it brings up a window telling them they need the other mod too.
