It slightly adjusts weapon weights, brings vanilla weapons to be on par with their closest real world examples for armor penetration, and cost adjustment to be in line with minimal standards. The overall changes are within 10% of each other for any damage change, but weights affect that too, over all, weapons become lighter. I might just release a vanilla like version.
David 21 Jun @ 2:37am
What does it do to vanilla weapons. What are the changes.
Rachel L 11 Mar @ 11:01am
I really want to use this mod, but i dont like that it touches the vanilla weapons. Any way i can either remove that or you can remove it?
Machete_h4X 16 Apr, 2024 @ 11:25pm
I would use this if it didn't change any of the vanilla weapons.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 27 Mar, 2024 @ 10:53am
The balancing should be minimal, Its 80-90% in line with vanilla, but the original weapons were 30-40% under powered for some of them and even broken in some aspects.
Garlic 27 Mar, 2024 @ 6:49am
A quick note that not only it adds new weapons, but also does something to vanilla weapons. I realized that now since I missed the line "I have also done some balancing with this mod"
Lord Archadeas  [author] 15 Dec, 2023 @ 1:34pm
I haven't worked on this mod recently, but I have been working on a similar project to make this mod and my other mod more efficient. Its a side project, but it will likely be addressed at that time.
Corduroy Cordoba 15 Dec, 2023 @ 1:26pm
There's a minor bug in this mod: Several sword meshes will not be used in the game, because they have the same filenames - even though they're in different folders (".\mods\Euro Swords Revised\items\weapons\mesh\sword_type1" and ".\mods\Euro Swords Revised\items\weapons\mesh\sword_type2"). Here are the swords with conflicting filenames:

- Cross Bastard Sword
- Cross Arming Sword
- Cross Shortsword
- Straight Dagger

I was finally able to see the different meshes in game by giving everything in "sword_type2" a unique name, then updating the references in FCS accordingly.
Dr. Igor Dolvich 13 Jun, 2023 @ 12:07pm
Oh wait I saw your other mod, Lord's Armoury, lol. I might check that one out as well
Dr. Igor Dolvich 13 Jun, 2023 @ 12:03pm
Great collection of European weapons, thank you!

Would it be possible to potentially make the meshes slightly bigger? In game they look relatively small compared to other weapons in the game, I think FCS has the option to scale the weapon larger so I might make a patch for this. Also to fix the in-game icons as some of the weapons scale oddly in their icons.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 23 Feb, 2023 @ 3:09pm
Thank you for answering this, I can link them to this from now on. :)
NotFuji 22 Feb, 2023 @ 3:36pm
Just wanna say, if anyone wants to use these models for their own mods or packs, feel free to do so. Don't even have to credit me, just have fun.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 12 Sep, 2022 @ 4:33am
You can get them to use a sword that is actually a shield, but thats just visual. You can have 2 swords on your back, but that is just for display. they dont work like dual wielding. It would have been fun though.
SLANK 12 Sep, 2022 @ 4:11am
I'm an idiot lol. I could've sworn I saw my guy runnin with 2 swords.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 12 Sep, 2022 @ 3:50am
Because no weapon is 1-handed :)
SLANK 11 Sep, 2022 @ 7:24pm
Why are the daggers two handed? I was hoping to dual wield but my character just holds one with two hands.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 15 Nov, 2021 @ 8:26am
I try to, though I have to take a break on modding for a bit to keep work going. Been a busy year. I am glad you enjoy. I still love keeping mods alive.
Dscrub 14 Nov, 2021 @ 9:07pm
Someday, I will have a modlist to completely de-weeb Kenshi. Today, I have proper swords. (I'm kidding, of couse, but I still much prefer these. Thanks for keeping the mod alive.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 4 Sep, 2021 @ 6:06am
You shouldn't, its a standalone update, but you can load mine after and it shouldnt be a problem.
FlyingBearCrap 3 Sep, 2021 @ 11:02pm
Do I need the orginal mod for this one to work?
Lord Archadeas  [author] 2 Mar, 2021 @ 6:38am
Well, its not much of a problem for me, but I will have to refuse, as while I am the soul maintainer of the mod, I am not the original author. Fuji gave me permission to host and maintain it, but not permission to give out other permissions, though I would love to see his work spread nicely around. It being a required mod would be fine, but stand alone would need permission. Sorry about that my friend.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 9 Aug, 2020 @ 1:50am
Considering that most halberds are actually smaller headed than those in games, its more realistic.
Holaddor 8 Aug, 2020 @ 9:53pm
Great mod! I just think the Halberd should have a bigger head like the real ones have and look weak especially compared with the axes, sorry to bother.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 19 May, 2020 @ 3:36pm
I don't want to carelessly wield around permissions, sorry, and it seems NotFuji is hard to get in contact, but you can try posting in the original in hopes of permission. You can however load this mod as a required source freely.
paperkut808 19 May, 2020 @ 10:52am
I know you're maintaining this mod for someone else at the moment, but would it be ok to use these in a mod I'm working on? If I need to ask NotFuji, I will, but it sounds like the creator is not easy to get a hold of?
Lord Archadeas  [author] 17 Apr, 2020 @ 3:55am
Thank NotFuji for that. This mod is more or less to keep the mod more up to date, Lord's Armory is designed to more so spread out these weapons and other weapons to more lore friendly and reasonable locations. Though I am a bit sporadic in updates because of other projects I work on and real life work.
WALKING XENO HOLOCAUST 16 Apr, 2020 @ 7:17pm
ok ty :) great models btw
Lord Archadeas  [author] 15 Apr, 2020 @ 8:18am
Far as I remember I tried to keep this in only a few stores and I dont think I added it to random NPCs.
WALKING XENO HOLOCAUST 15 Apr, 2020 @ 7:54am
This doesn't add them to the world right? Cuz its unimmersive, so i'd like to keep it only to my faction which is a bunch of weirdos.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 31 Jan, 2020 @ 6:08am
Depends, for humans, yeah, its more so an upgrade and does cutting damage. Skeletons will see nearly 0 use.
[Oe] 30 Jan, 2020 @ 11:14pm
are they a straight upgrade or sidegrade?
Lord Archadeas  [author] 30 Jan, 2020 @ 3:57am
Daggers are used to increase close quarters combat(martial arts in this case)
[Oe] 29 Jan, 2020 @ 10:55pm
what exactly do knives do?
Lord Archadeas  [author] 9 Sep, 2019 @ 7:45pm
It is up to date my friend. Lords Armory is more of a Collection that distributes the items across the world more evenly. I might consider splitting the weapons and armor, but that is something for the far distant future. Nothing in Lords Armory is OP, its all built around a standard framework that is close to vanilla.
Boythatbreaksrules27 9 Sep, 2019 @ 7:39pm
Can you consider updating this mod to the same version as in Lords Armory? I'd like to have just the weapons here in my game and not the armor or op AWP in the mod pack (sorry no offence)
Itharus 21 Jul, 2019 @ 5:17pm
Thank you :)
Lord Archadeas  [author] 21 Jul, 2019 @ 3:55pm
Head to my workshop and grab it, it does that and more, though the hub merchant has been removed, the worlds end is still around and I plan to eventually expand it to cover more of the world. Also has more weapons and armor.
Itharus 21 Jul, 2019 @ 2:34pm
Does Lords Armory do the same things, ie: putting in the merchants and handing out these weapons to Holy Nation types? And where can I find the armory mod? :)
Lord Archadeas  [author] 21 Jul, 2019 @ 1:50pm
Its no long updated, as it is now part of Lords Armory, this is just for save purposes.
Itharus 21 Jul, 2019 @ 12:41pm
What does legacy mean in this regards - no longer updated? This mod is great, I'd hate to see it go T_T
Lord Archadeas  [author] 30 May, 2019 @ 4:23pm
Worlds End is the High Hrothgar of Kenshi, literally the second place people should go, but sometimes takes people 20-30 hours to even consider it.
Explicitly Offensive Cuneiform 30 May, 2019 @ 10:21am
yeah, hub is the balmora/whiterun of kenshi, everyone puts their modded npcs there. Worlds end is a better place for the blueprints, with a close 2nd being the black desert city...
Lord Archadeas  [author] 16 May, 2019 @ 9:39pm
The hub trader has basically been removed because of those problems, either way, worlds end is the preferred source.
Rider 16 May, 2019 @ 8:04pm
Thank you for your answer, but after testing without other mods - same result in Hub.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 16 May, 2019 @ 10:58am
All weapons and blueprints should be in worlds end if they are not, then there is an issue that is not on my end. This is also a legacy build. The hub trader is broken with many other mods, so thats why worlds end has stock as well.
Rider 16 May, 2019 @ 10:41am
Fix please! I don't have a trader in Hub, blueprints and blunt weapons in World End. Previously, everything worked!
Lord Archadeas  [author] 8 May, 2019 @ 9:50am
Keep in mind that shields are a "Use at your own risk" I think I might push out the new update this week to at least get that resolved and get more testing, been terribly busy the past month.
Timesplitter 8 May, 2019 @ 12:10am
Thank you for this amazing mod that I have included in "Kenshi: The World Divided". This Mod Collection has been fully tested and works perfectly. Thank you again for the great mod to add to this collection. :steamhappy: Timesplitter.
lb8068 27 Apr, 2019 @ 3:08pm
Yeah I figured that was the issue. Thanks for the help.
Lord Archadeas  [author] 27 Apr, 2019 @ 2:55pm
Again, this is a legacy version. Some issues are fixed in the New mod. This is only kept up for people that use it to prevent issues with saves. Halberd should use the polearm, but I might use it for the hacker because of the swing. As for the reverse issue, not something that is easily fixed, because they literally turn the blade around to swing, its weird. Its a model issue.
