Make sure you disable other scenario databases when you start a new game, they can conflict with my scenario! Try it first with ALL other scenarios disabled.
Yes, the new version has fixed this issue. I had to switch to the Advanced editor mode. Fixtures will not clash with International call-ups now.
If you want to start a normal game, then when you start, unselect `World Super League` from the Advanced menu drop down.
Also, try simulate past that date, so go vacation for 3 days?
I've simulated many times, and it has never crashed. So I'm not sure about your issue!
The game crash..im playing on the 1st edition still. not this new update.

NO, there is NO Brexit.
Also, if you want to use this version, instead of subscribing to the XL channel, then you'll need to download the new graphics pack. Don't forget to clear your FM cache and reload your skin.

I had to change to the Advanced Editor mode, because the basic editor mode doesn't allow me to `Check for clashes with` : `All`
I'm almost done with the new version, just making some final tweeks. But the clashes are all gone!
I have the top 19 teams from Brazil by reputation included. From Flamengo to Bahia (5650 rep).
Dude, Corinthians is in League 1 and Internacional are in Division 1 A. So, I didn't forget them. How could I forget the Brazilian teams? I have 19 teams from Brazil.
Look at the picture for League 1, Corinthians is in the relegation zone at the bottom.
There are no `exotic` countries or clubs represented. I prefer to include clubs with historical value, like Sheffield (the oldest club in the world), and all the oldest clubs from major countries.
There are however 58 countries represented in the upcoming release. Most major footballing countries. I tried to take at least the top one to three clubs from each major nation.
The main reason I won't choose `exotic` clubs is because they (probably) won't have logos in my logo pack, I prefer to choose clubs that have a nice logo in the TCM logo pack. I also prefer clubs with stadium pictures, and city pictures, but they are harder to find the lower you go.
The old English League (from Premier to Vanarama) and Champions League have been completely dismantled. I removed all history and records from them, then set them to extinct, then deleted the Champions League (the game still references them even if you set it to Extinct, and even if you delete it, so by removing history and records there are no references to them)
What's the rule for foreigners in clubs ? Have we got exotic teams in tier XII (like in FM16 it was the best team for countries that weren't represented in the previous tiers like a north korean, an ethiopean or even a belize team) ?
From the scenarios I see posted for FM16, this is very different. One of them had 20 divisions long, 680 clubs. Too many divisions. This is 12 divisions. So in theory, it should take a minimum of 11 seasons to reach the Premier League from the bottom. Because I use groups for my `Divisions`, that's why they are called Divisions here. Starting from Division 1 A & B etc.
PS: The winner of my CL gets 20m (plus money from wins and appearance money, also money for loosing, it depends). Usually the winner of the CL is NOT the winner of the Premier League, very difficult to win both. The winner of the Premier League gets almost 100m.
Anyways, I simulate a ton of games, I've simulated to 2039 already, there are no dominant clubs! And I've balanced the money with a ton of calculations. You should see my spreadsheets. I don't just blindly assign money. Every league has a target income and expenditure that I calculate as best I can.
NO, I never released anything for FM16.
My Champions League works different to the real one. In my Champions League, there is a huge 128 team group stage before the knockout rounds. ALL clubs in the top 5 divisions play in the group stage. 16 groups, 8 clubs each. League 4 plays a qualifying round, only 12 of the 24 clubs in League 4 enter the group stage. ALL clubs from Premier League, Championship, League 1, 2 and 3 start in the group stage. So there is already good and varied competition.
I've never seen one team dominate the game. In fact, it's so challenging that I've never seen a club win the treble, (Premier League, (my) Champions League and FA Cup) in one season.

ALL MLS clubs are included and playable! The images don't show all the clubs, only 20% of the clubs! The MLS clubs in the the Divisons (below League 4)

I've never tried it with multiplayer, but the reason I released it on steam is because I wanted to give guys the opportunity to play multiplayer, so I believe you can!
There are NO settings I've seen, even in the Advanced Editor to control travel costs. I'm not sure what your travel costs are for lower division teams (I usually start with an English club). Maybe you can give me an example, per match / year.
However, in the update I'm working on (World Super League XL), Division 6 clubs get 56K ~ 400K in total (Prize money + TV money) excluding additional income from cup matches. This should be enough to get started!
