I hope u dont mind,i did some changes to your ship and kinda updated a bit for the current version of the game :d,basicaly i did the ship to work and is for my taste,i just release it public for everyone to test it..if u have a problem pls tell me so i can remove it from workshop.

Hi,

Nice ship as usual. I just added a missing rear sensor to trigger the back door and ramp access.
I guess you missed it since you put it on the MX-15

hey again, i will try to fix this on my own but im not expert in this game mechanism :) anyway will be very glad if u can make an update to make those automated back door, ramp and light.. not only for me I think. I wish u all best and thanks again for those amazing ships!!!!

Thanks Riky. Yeah, this ship pre-dated me doing the auto lights and ramps etc. You have to add two sensors to do it right. One someone on the ceiling in the back room (optimal) and one near the back door, and define the area of them and name them something. Then go to each light, look at it and hit the P key, get into the 3rd tab and set it to the sensor name. Same goes for the back door and ramp. However the ramp also needs the I option selected (invert) or it will be backwards. I would have to look at this ship and figure out the best spots for the sensors. I may try to update the ship sometime with these features, I am just really having issues with time at the moment. I hope that helps. Thanks!

Love the design aesthetic in your family of ships. Menacing, a little unorthodox and packed with a lot of detail, interesting angles and outstanding performance. The C2 paired with the HSV-B is a great looking combo. Finally built a pad for the Cerebus but seem overkill for single PvE :-)

And she looks it! There are a lot of details and design bits about this thing I really love, but I'd be writing paragraphs pointing them all out. The cockpit though... when they added it to the game I thought "ooh, neat!" but time and experience has since shown me the blasted thing's very difficult to integrate smoothly. Blocks/angles and smooth curves just don't line up well.

Thanks for the comment Kieve. It's the first ship I used the curved cockpit on, and I kind of like it now. This is also the most powerful SV I have built to date.

I think, more than anything else, what impresses me about this ship is the way you've managed to make the curved cockpit not look totally out of place. This thing is vicious, mean, and downright awesome.

Ghost, someday I will get to building a HV. So far I have only made a few mining HV's. I don't use them much at all in survival as I find them kind of annoying to travel with getting stuck on trees or steep terrain frequently. So, I mainly use SV's with the exception of mining. I guess in game I would not know what to do with it, at least with my play style. I have always attacked enemy bases with SV's an normally with standard rockets (Line up at turret, fire, move). Now, if a SV could dock on a HV, I have a lot of things in mind to build that could be useful. I have had a few SV's destroyed by drones while parked near a base I was raiding. A HV with turrets would be helpful for that.

Dertypat, thanks! It is not really a courage thing, it's more a lack of time. I am back to work after the holidays and get very little time to actually work on these creations. I am trying to avoid getting involved in much else as it all takes time. I have got faster at building ships/etc now thou. The Chimera took a total of around 8 hours to build, and another two hours to publish with screenshots. It was definitely a faster project than most of the others besides maybe the Merc. The Manticore was around 70 hours, and the Cerberus was more than that yet. I have been building everything since the Manticore following the same theme so they all fit together as a set. I have more planned things to add to it. - Light figher, starter base, better base, some kind of HV, and some defense structures. oh, And I really want to build yet another capital ship. hey boss, just wanted to say that I love and use all your ship designs. My friends and I play CoOp on a private server and one is using the Manitcore, one the Cerberus, all have Mercs. The only reason I am not using the Manti or Cerberus is because I wanted a different looking ship. I had actually found them first and was planning to build one, when they were like check it we have new ships. I was so mad they stole my ship plans!
We are nearing end game, and plan to restart using Voodoo 3 map. I will be using the Carapce to start and will probably graduate to the Cerberus. Long winded way to say, you have awesome ship designs and they are being used. If I ever get the courage to actually record and upload gameplay footage on You Tube or Twitch/Beam, your ships will be a featured part!
