@Bitz, ETC is Electrothermal-Chemical. It's basically a normal gun but slightly better. We have some in real life.

Does anyone know how to make this work with iridar's 5 tier overhaul? Out of the gate it technically works but it is needed for coil weapon research instead if magnetic

the sound gives me so much nostalgiaaaaaaaaaaaa it hurts that these weapons aren't useful for nearly as long enough.

@RealityMachina, I have installed this mode, bridge and iridars 5 level tiers overhaul and somehow I got 2 same if not similar ETC pistols in the market. I'm not sure what can be an issue but I just want let you know that it looks a bit weird.

Very cool looking and sounding weapons. One nasty bug though: They dont seem to comply with the games volume sliders. Even with master volume set to zero, they can still be heard, and at normal volume settings they're extremely loud. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, or what it may be caused by?

You can add these weapons to other classes by using Open Weapon Restrictions, where applicable.

Anyway, thank you very much for this mod. It makes early game a bit more manageable by being able to oneshot those pesky troops with rifles, while stretching out early progression a bit more.

I really like the design of the ETC Sniper rifle but it disappears after upgrading to magnetic tier while the other ETC weapons remain. Is there anyway to retain original look?

I can't seem to get the costs to pull from the .ini, am I doing something wrong? I want to make these things cost more but no matter what values I put into the file the shotgun and pistol always cost 35 supplies.

I love the skins, I was hoping these would be just extra skins for Tier 1. I'd also love to see the ETC Tier 3 plasma weapns brought to XCOM2 WOTC. And maybe the EXALT Tier 1s too.

these are great. I run ETC weapons with laser replacing magnetic, and coils replacing beams. in addition to the LW LMG add-on. ETC guns give a nice sense of progression

I hope there will be a version of this mod soon where these guns can be used for all three tiers, like the recent laser and coilgun weapon pack mod that came out recently. Having the ability to use these through most of a playthrough rather than having them for roughly 6 missions if that would be awesome.

if you were able to port Kablam's EU/EW Tier 1 weapons to WoTC, surely then you can create a version that just adds the weapons to the game without being an upgrade to Tier 1?

Interesting. I hope thisdoesnt conflict with the new laser and couldn't their replacements. You rock RM, always making the mod I want before I know I wanted it.

Now to find a way to make the game be a bit more drawn out.

Thanks for bringing this to WoTC, RealityMachina. In my last base game playthrough I used these and Pavonis Interactive's Laser Pack, it really helped to delay that end-game snowball.

@RealityMachina: Holy mosis, dude I was not expecting this, I litrally posted this as a mod request two days ago woah:) I know you'll be a really busy person so sorry to ask so quickly after this came out but Is there by chance going to be another version of this mod to come out in the future where the EW weapons can be made for all 3 tiers with the magnetic laser effects for tier 2 and 3 from Mr Kablamm0fish's original mod as apose to just a 1.5 tier weapon? The reason being is that a lot of people including myself love the look of these guns and want to use them for the whole playthrough. Even though I can understand why some people want to get better guns earlier in the game, it would be great to get the best of both worlds for players, on a side note love your mods especially MOCX initiative, that mod is beast:)
