PC Factory Barbarian 26 Nov, 2021 @ 4:00am
Downloaded. Thanks for the mod!

PS, I think WesternCrusader's Idea of a Samurai Knights and Dracuraptor's Mounted Samurai Knights mod would be fantastic.
EoNightcore  [author] 25 Nov, 2021 @ 3:22pm
@armandjayoncenteno maybe? It only adds buildings and units with abilities to said units.
Do be warned though, once you go mod on a save-file, you can't go back unless you load an old save-file before the mod was used.
PC Factory Barbarian 25 Nov, 2021 @ 2:57am
Does this mod work on old unmodded save files?
EoNightcore  [author] 26 Aug, 2021 @ 4:52pm
@tr1n1tas
Theoretically, yes
tr1n1tas 25 Aug, 2021 @ 3:58am
can the ai recruit the mod units and built the mod buildings ?
Dracuraptor 20 May, 2021 @ 9:56pm
I love the new units but the lacking in cavalry and effective swords were a letdown. for a cavalry unit, i would take DeadZone32's idea to make kishi knights. the unit is a sword cavalry as a preset and the stats are compared to kiyomasa katana cav

cost: 1600
ma: 35
charge: 30
armor: 15
md: 15
morale: 35

abilities
warcry
wedge
second wind
banzai

special traits
bulletproof mod
can hide in woods
inspires nearby units

building requirements: bajutsu master dojo, kishi hq

The second unit I had in mind was Kishi lancers. This unit is compared to great guard.

cost: 1400
ma: 18
charge: 35
bonus vs cav: 25
md: 7
morale: 10

abilities
wedge
second wind
rapid advance

traits
fast moving

this unit requires the same as the kishi knights: a bajutsu master dojo and a kishi hq.
WesternCrusader666 22 Nov, 2020 @ 10:36pm
Unit Idea: Samurai Foot Knights

Tons of Armour: at least 10
Has Bulletproof modifer
High Melee Defence in exchange for poor Charge.
Has Anti-infantry
Very damm slow
Can only hide in forest
Can Banzai
Can Inspire
Can Hold Fast

But to make a cheaper monk would cheapen the monk, or in other words it'll be cheaper
Stinger-9000 22 Oct, 2019 @ 11:24am
Can you make a cheaper monk unit mod
Narlindir 12 Oct, 2019 @ 5:08am
Ok I retested it without Darth Mod
And I must say
The extra armour reall makes a difference
these guys haul ass xD

Darth mod version when? ^^
Tell me how and I ll make a "increased unit size" version :D
Narlindir 12 Oct, 2019 @ 4:54am
I really dig the Idea of this mod
And it very well put together!
Visuals are great :D

But I dont get teh numbers part
I played some 1v1 test games and the units just loose to their counterparts
(some even to their non monk alternative)
Maybe its because I am using darth mod and the unit sizes do not tranlate that well (180 vs like 105 men)

could you do a version where the christian monks are just a 1 to 1 in terms of stats vs their buddhist conterpart?

PS: I am plaing the Game in german and a lot of text is missing (Like in mayn units mods like radious)
And I was wondering If I could help you translate strings or somethig

Kepp up the grat work
the mod is very refreshing and creative :sfhappy:

Dear EoNightcore, since im not that great of a modder could you make a mod that turns off the limit to the amount of naban trade ports a faction can construct, because as the otomo it gets tidious later in the game to march your tercos accros the map just to join up with the rest of your army. Or the fact that you have to destroy the naban tradeport completely to reconstruct it somewhere else.
i'd be extremely greatfull if you could make a mod that turns off the limit on the amount of naban trade ports a faction (or just the otomo clan) could construct.

it would probably be a massive open society by now, with a propelled culture. You probably wouldn't have stuff like the rising sun by the time WW2 came around. If you did, soldiers probably wouldn't want to die for an Emperor.
Kuma 27 Mar, 2018 @ 7:31am
i always thiking abou how will japan be if they had not persecuted kirisitan and keep open for western
JxSlayz666 19 Feb, 2018 @ 11:33pm
I LIKE this mod... hope it works..
Rem wake up 3 Feb, 2018 @ 3:13pm
understandable
kyle 3 Feb, 2018 @ 1:13pm
Ah, no worries. I heard the dev's are releasing a lot of support for modders though, so if you can get your hands on the stuff and work your magic, I'd be happy to play test.
EoNightcore  [author] 3 Feb, 2018 @ 9:33am
@Rando Franando coming up with a Latin name wasn't exactly in my thoughts when I was making this. However, my excuse for this is that the Japanese aren't too well-versed in Latin yet, unlike the European Crusade Chapters, which where established in lands with a deep Latin hereitage.

@Death Star Pumpkin Guy If I ever get the game, perhaps. Course, I rarely get new games considering their pricing.... I'm a poor scrub.
kyle 2 Feb, 2018 @ 11:54pm
Unrelated, but can you make the same kind of mod for kingdom come deliverance?
Rem wake up 2 Feb, 2018 @ 11:10pm
wouldn't they use like... a latin name? since the portuguese and spaniards were latin and the dutch didn't have too much influence on them at the time
EoNightcore  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 5:59pm
@bazingo! Oh, there's a mod out that uses the knight models? I must investigate further and.... "requisition" these models for my own use... In that I ask the modder of course.
bazingo! 23 Jan, 2018 @ 3:54pm
I think the Portugal mod uses knight models pulled from Medieval or something, and they look quite nice. Maybe you could find the source?
EoNightcore  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 3:48pm
@bazingo! Not really, Church was always more of a influential organization rather than an actual military force. Any force they did command tended to be because they were rely on the support of the Catholic Kings or the Holy Orders.

Another issue I face is the fact that I don't have any European Knight model assets in my modded files, so I can't really create a model for any possible Knight Orders.... Even if it would be interesting.
bazingo! 23 Jan, 2018 @ 3:38pm
Welp, I tried. Oh well. Is there anything the Church could do to help Christians in Japan militarily?
EoNightcore  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 3:13pm
@bazingo! The famous orders still existing around the late 1500s would be the Knights Hospitaller, whom were busy trying not to be wiped off the map by the Ottoman Empire, and patroling North Africa to lessen the threat of the Barbary Pirates; or the Teutonic Knights, whom were ousted out of their Prussian homeland in 1525, severely weakening them in an already declining state, leaving them stuck mainly in the Holy Roman Empire.

As for the Knights Templar? They died out in 1312 following a mass purge by the French King.
bazingo! 23 Jan, 2018 @ 1:41pm
Sorry, Jesuit wasn't the right word. What I meant was, like, some sort of European order, like how the Otomo can import the Portuguese Tercos. Maybe the Knights Templar or something? I don't know much about the history of the church in this time period. :P
EoNightcore  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 1:36pm
@bazingo! There's no reason to add them when the Kirisuto-Kyo Clerics are already in exsistence. After all, Jesuits were missionaries, and not actual combat troops. The Kirisuto-Kyo Cleric unit is already pushing the line as I see it.
bazingo! 23 Jan, 2018 @ 1:17pm
Maybe add Jesuits of some kind?
Bola 20 Jan, 2018 @ 11:14am

Okay awesome
EoNightcore  [author] 14 Jan, 2018 @ 6:55pm
@Death Star Pumpkin Guy You should now have access to a new building line only avaliable to the Christian Faction, the Kishi Order units are recruitable from there.
kyle 14 Jan, 2018 @ 3:08pm
Oi finally got into playing shogun 2 campaign, was just wondering where I can find the kishi, I am using a Christian clan.
Sand Donkey 14 Jan, 2018 @ 12:56am
those clerics look really cool
Bersaglieri 13 Jan, 2018 @ 11:26pm
I love it! Thank you! :)
EoNightcore  [author] 13 Jan, 2018 @ 7:21pm
@Bersaglieri

It's explained in the Important Notes part of the description.

"-Kishi means Rider, or Knight. So Kishi Order means Knight Order. Creative, no?"
Snxw 13 Jan, 2018 @ 2:26pm
That momment you see bible qoutes and you realise you burned your bible because it went againest the emperor of man
Bersaglieri 13 Jan, 2018 @ 2:07pm
I'm curious what "Kishi" means. Is this a name you gave for a specific reason or was it a real order? Either way, nice mod!
