When I tried to make a new city this map theme did not load and its theme was vanilla. I tried retrying the city many times but the theme was not loaded? Is there anything I can try to do???

LOD tells me that a bunch of textures and else are missing when I load a fresh version of the map.
Anyone?

公园人行道的毁坏纹理很奇怪,太丑了,系统可以更新一下,那样就更完美了,谢谢

okay, thanks a lot again, did some testing and like you said it's really difficult to get a good result

@Madnit_Rutscher transparency of texture itself (alpha channel or whatever). The texture image itself should be transparent. As far as I remmeber, for this theme, I firstly did detailed changes of transparency for certain parts of the image like some rocks, spaces between rocks etc. I played a lot with it to get satisfying effect. Next I was messing up with general transparency of image to get alpha blending (the wat that grass blenrs through the image) on slopes that satisfied me. Overall, this single cliff texture took me a few hours of work :-)

I can't find any option for transparency, is it something you cange in the theme editor or does it have to do with the texture itself (alpha channel or something)?

thanks for the quick response btw

@Madnit_Rutscher play with transparency of cliff texture :-)

Can you tell me how you changed at wich angle the cliff textures starts/ end? I've tried to make my own themes countless times but always had the problem with cliff texture appearing on relativly flat areas

Same problem as Pan Bobek. The game says "Warning: The custom map theme used by this map or save is missing. A default map theme will be used instead. Do you wish to proceed?"
I tried this with the "Greenfalls" map.
However! I was able to override it with the Environment Changer mod.

I can see it in content menager, but I can't choose it when creating new map :<

Nice one! I'm using it in my newly published map, the various Seven Seas of Rhye .

This Mountains are perfect. I always hated how just a slight steepness formed my hills and mountainsites to massive rocks.
I think i will use this theme for my next map build based on Vorarlberg/Austria.
What me pleases too, is that you can use the ressources to paint fields.

ok thanks :steamhappy:

@Black Fire - the best option for you is Theme Mixer mod. Feel freee to test my cliff texture with other themes :)

Hi, your rocks texture really is the best which showed up in steam workshop ever, and also better than everything I could find elsewhere. I'm planing a new map and realy would like to use this texture! Would you be willing to share it ? :D

THAT IS !! what I was looking for since a long time! I am making maps with lots of mountains and hills, and these never locked really perfect because there was just not enough grass on the hillsides to look really good. I tried to modify this theme (I am looking for a theme like this, but with grass less bright, more juicy :-) ) with the help of theme mixer. But so far I didn't get it right. Will/is it possible to use this theme + CS Theme editor + Theme mixer ?
THANK YOU so much for your great work! :steamhappy:

Fxsxtxr 21 Jun, 2018 @ 7:23pm
i am having the same issue as conner, the theme is not showing up
yellowbelly29 9 Jun, 2018 @ 10:36pm
this theme does not appear in my list of themes to add to a map and I am not sure why. Its a shame too because this is the best theme I have found for a mountain map like the one I am creating. any help or tips to get this into my game.

@s.chave, your welcome :-)
@Eilif, european version is released, feel free to test it :-)

Thank you for this really awesome theme !
Exactly what was missing for my alpine region.

Khanador, i wrote after testing tyour theme in map editor. However, now that i test the map in game, the shiny sand, are suddently much better and not so bright. I dont know why, maybe Daylight Classic doesnt work in map editor? Anyway, i came to harsh about the sand texture. It looks fine and the theme even better than i tought. Looking forward to your European version. And thank you very much.
Khanador  [author] 27 Feb, 2018 @ 1:21pm
Eilif, thanks for the feedback. I will be releasing european version of this theme with slightly different sand/gras/resources textures you might like a bit more.
I also strongly suggest using Theme Mixer mod (link in description) if you want even more variety. The mod allows you to choose different textures from other themes.
Eilif 26 Feb, 2018 @ 5:40am
This theme is a must for those creating a realistc and steep hills and mountain map. I never understood why the cliff textures had to be so dominant in this game. The cliff texture in this theme is the best i have seen of all themes. But there is a downside to this theme. The sandtexture is to bright / shiny and the gras texture is not completely seamless.

"Gooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaall!" Here it is, folks: *the* map theme. Wait, now I have to go back in time and change all my temperate maps to this theme. Look at all the time/space continuum work you've caused me. Sheesh.:D
I. Love. It. :steamhappy:
