And she's a shrewd trader, and has beaten me twice on diplo victory, which is two more than any of the other leaders has managed to do. I guess if you "fix" this mod, please leave a version that isn't. Thx!

(Mac)--Single city here too. But she's such a reliable ally, builds Tondo vertically, and because I play small continents she has a powerful navy. Sometimes I feel bad for that settler unit, wandering around inside some glitch. It never updates. But that can be a good thing.

It's looking to me like there is a bug where she won't settle any cities apart from her first. Two games in a row now she's on one city. First game (Emperor difficulty) she did conquer a city-state, but never settled her second starting settler. Second game (Immortal difficulty) it's admittedly only 55 turns in, but her second Settler is still near her capital. To compare, the other AIs that I have met have settled 5, 3 and 5 cities.

I really wish the devs had gone with this style for the base game instead. It looks nice, but I'm not sure if it would clash with the art style, still I'll probably try it out.

I couldn't help but notice when reading her Civpedia profile that she's said to be the last Buddhist leader, but her pref\erence is still down as Sunni/Islam

I got the nationalism civic but can't build the ranger replacement. I see it is ALSO on the tech tree under rifling as usual, and I don't have rifling. Maybe you need to get both rifling AND nationalism to build it?

Pretty much what I've seen others comment about: This civ always remains as a city-state and never settles a second city. (Though, she'll gladly build the biggest army and take down city states)

@panzer.tc Don't worry, the logs should help to identify what's happening. The next time this happens, navigate to your logs folder \my games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs

and grab the database.log and modding.log files. Send them over to me chimpang.mod@gmail.com and I'll take a look at them to see what's happening.

I can't play this mod, OMG, my favorite Civilization...
An update to my Civ VI game or something, but if I enable this mod my game won't start.
Anyone else having troubles? Any suggestions?

@enehgara1 Thanks for the kind words :) I'll still look into this and see if there's anything we can write in to encourage expansion a little more - whether it will do anything or not I'm not sure, but I'll keep an eye for it in any case. We're currently catching up on all the updates for GS, but once everything's in a good spot, we can revisit them and see if we can improve them further.

I've noticed some wierd behaviors in the AI in general as well since the last patch. This mod has it the worse so far given that no matter the settings, maps, difficulties and such, this particular Civ always has a single city throughout the whole game with a settler ploped on top of the capital, unwilling to move. Konda wished this was your mods fault, as The AI issues are unlikely to be resolved anytime soon. Thx for the reply, and beside this incoveniant, all your philipines and malaysia are pretty good, thx for this!

If it's not barbs stealing her settlers, which is the most likely explanation, then that sounds like an AI thing. But this mod doesn't touch that. However, I have noticed that the AI has been particularly poor since the latest patch - I had an AI surround my cities with catapults where they just stood there not attacking my city for like 20 turns. There's nothing in this mod that would prevent her from settling cities though.

Been testing this civ for a few games now. It would seem that the AI never creates more than one city, and it's settler doesn't move from the capital (I usually play on immortal/diety, so unless the barbarians did her dirty while i was looking away...)

It isn't selectable because it isn't currently updated for GS. Please be patient, the team has a large number of mods. An update is currently being worked on.

@zon - some changes and tweaks are currently underway for this and the base mod that will separate Rizal from the civ itself. Once that's all finished, this mod will still require the base civ mod but you won't have to have Rizal as well.

Afraid not. It's an alt leader for the civ. It isn't a civ itself, so it isn't built to stand on its own.

Hey @Murloc no problem, it's actually in the artdefs of the main Philippines mod. So just open the folder (SteamApps\workshop\content\289070\1204698883\ArtDefs) and then open the Cultures.artdef

When you see "Mediterranean" on line 59, just change that to "Indonesian" instead and that will change the city art style to the one Khmer and Indonesia uses :)

Hey mod maker, sorry to bug you, but I just wanted to know how to change the art style used by this mod? (I'd rather it be Khmer's style) I'm semi familiar with editing SQL and LUA files. Just point me to the file I need to change please. Thanks!

@chris'_ - They can, yeah. I think these are early screenshots. The only problem with having them use the Khmer or Indonesia style is that it would make the mod require the DLC and we wanted to keep our mods as accessible as possible.

I just noticed, that in your screenshots the city buildings seem to use the Northern European (Germany/Norway) art style, while in my game, the city buildings use the classical Greek/Roman art style - can this be assigned by the mod? It seems like the Philippines should use the art styles of maybe Khmer or Indonesia?

Hi there - love your mods, especially how you have so many female leaders! I'm excited to try this one, but I'm having an issue where, when founding a city, only added bulidings are visible. (palace, monument, granary, etc.) The actual city buildings are invisible.

To make sure to isolate the problem, I disabled all other user created content (except for the base Philippines and this leader pack) and still had the issue. The default Philippines leader does not have the problem.

I'm running Rise and Fall.

Have you applied the post RaF fix already? Check the description above - there should be a dropbox link that will have instructions that can fix many of the issues with Rise and Fall and mods.

Philippines civ works with Jose Rizal but doesn't with Kalangitan. I do not know if that helps but i have the same problem with another mod as well with JFD's Italy where i cannot play with Matilda as an alternative leader. To summarize, it seems i cannot lay with alternative leaders for some reason

Check out civfanatics.com and download similar mods that you want to attempt. Best way to learn is to look at other mods and reverse engineer! Civfanatics is very helpful and there is also a Civ 6 modding helpline discord.
