Villeneuve Valley Branch

The Brisbane Valley route only covers north of Wulkuraka to just north of Toogoolawah with the Yarraman section excluded

The Kingaroy & Proston branch covers everything and a short section of the NCL at Theebine

The bonus about Trainz is while driving along any route and at the bottom of the page 'by default' is a gradient profile in % value. You can convert these vales to 1 in XX using Trainmans Train Page at http://www.trainman.id.au/ it's under the calculators and converters

If you can't download the routes for Trainz from the DLS, I can pass on the cdp files ;) Which is why I've sent you a friend request :) And we can chat that way, saves me spamming your thread here HAHA

Hey mate, those are super helpful, but I can't figure out how to download or purchase them.

Unfortunately I don't have either curve and gradient diagrams for the Brisbane Valley line or Kingaroy & Proston branches.

However, I do have these routes working in Trainz 2019. With only a few missing dependencies, doesn't effect the routes, but you may run into track breakage. I'm not sure why some tracks tend to break or be deleted in Trainz after being uploaded to the DLS. But, I've got a few QR routes with track breakages HAHA

Hey mate, good luck with your Cleveland route.
That certainly is an ambitious project through the suburbs.
I have the same problem with lack of curve and gradient diagrams for certain lines I want to build.
I'm chasing curve and gradient diagrams for the Brisbane Valley Line and also the Kingaroy line.
I've purchased some historical curve and gradient diagrams from the link below, you may find something useful.

Excellent news, I will await for your NSW route with 'Great Patience' I'm currently working on my own QR route, between Wynnum North and Cleveland. I will be honest, I absolutely have no idea what I'm doing mate HAHA the entire route gradients is all guesswork as I haven't got any gradient diagrams for the Cleveland, Doomben, Shorncliffe, Ferny Grove or even the Airport line. I pretty much have every other curve & gradient diagrams for all other lines but those lines.. Nope!

I'd like to use this gps data to create series markers, which I've tried but it's somehow not showing in the editor nor will my own 3d modelled route marker pins/flags. I wished TS was the same how MSTS worked when it comes to route markers and gps lines, DTG's had to make everything complicated and yet they can't even provide fully written documentation on how everything works.. I better stop complaining HAHA

@ wolfpredator
Hey mate,I have plenty of unfinished QR routes Haha.
One day I will get some finished.
Currently working on a NSW route,Werris Ck to Tamworth.
This will be the next route uploaded to the workshop later this year.
wolfpredator 4 May, 2023 @ 5:32am
Quite an interesting route! I only can see the entire route map, only because I don't have the required assets available. I just can't be bothered buying more useless routes I don't ever drive. I do wished that DTG would introduce an option for users to purchase payware route assets, this would be a dream come true, but of course they won't do that because we all know DTG's has a greedy side about them

I would like to know if you have any more QR routes, don't worry I promise that I will try not to be a gimmie pig HAHA

@mortia Thats a very generous compliment mate, and very happy you appreciate and enjoy the route.Yes the CPRR 4-4-0 n.60 Jupiter is used for the track and some bridges, happy railroading:104:
mortia 7 Dec, 2021 @ 7:48am
I downloaded your route a week ago. Of the 350 routes I have in TS2022 this is my top 10. I run ThirdRails Bing maps when I drive your route and you are deadly accurate in following the closed line. As a route developer (at 76 yrs of age) I know the time and effort you have spent in creating this wonderful route. There are missing bridges and much trackwork missing.I do not have CPRR 4-4-0 n.60 Jupiter. I assume with this the route should be perfect for me. This is the only asset i am missing from your list..
ferral97 13 Nov, 2020 @ 9:38pm
so im sure the dovetail crew can do some aussie stuff we see this question many times we get ignored glad i dont pay for this games in last yrs the only thing thTs changed is the year
gertj3 12 Nov, 2019 @ 10:03am
Awesome route, thanks so much for sharing, love the branch line feel to it and I think you did a amazing job.
loud06 12 Nov, 2019 @ 6:33am
ok Bradillo, thanks for you answer, i send a message to Dovetail kayako, there is a real bug and for me it's impossible to solve it. i hope they will fix it later by a patch. a can play through a Quick Drive scenario, but the scenarios in the workshop don't works.
Bradillo  [author] 12 Nov, 2019 @ 5:04am
@loud06 Sorry to hear your having issues mate, unfortunately the timedcheckforinstall: Has no UninstalledSyncedItems is a Steam or TS2020 Bug,theres no issue with the route itself. It only happens if you press the workshop Tab in the Drive menu.
By avoiding the workshop Tab in the Drive menu you should not have any problems and should be able to use the quickdrive scenario or create your own scenarios direct from the Editor.
As for your concern with rwtools, that is completely normal message.
rwtools doesnt always register every route template for some reason.
Hope you have a win hey.
loud06 12 Nov, 2019 @ 4:29am
for infomation, i have checked the route by using rwtools, and i have this error message when i check the route : "the route template listes in routeproperties.xml d:\steam....\assets\dtg\caltrain\templateroutes\calTrain.bin Could not be found. Does anyone knows what it means ? thanks
loud06 11 Nov, 2019 @ 1:26pm
since i have download the route, there is a error message : timedcheckforinstall: Has no UninstalledSyncedItems

gertj3 23 Jun, 2019 @ 8:45am
Hi Bradilo. I am speechless. what a awesome route, for the first time in years I had so much fun on Train Simulator, great route and well done, I must say it is a true branch line and the scenery is very much South African too, it brought back many Railway memories to me working the branch lines and I must say with Bossman Games TCDD Class it was a blast because this locomotive of Bossman really have the Australian look in it so I had a time of my life, was kind of sad to reach the end station but wow words cant describe how happy your route made me today. I wish all Trainsim routes could look like this... I just want to end by saying thank you so much, you wont know how much I appreciate you for sharing as I would pay a lot for routes like this. Thanks again. Gert

@Sharpey Hey thanks for the feedback Mike, glad you enjoyed it,ver2 will be available again soon, had some dramas with uploading updates on workshop.
Sharpey™ 17 Feb, 2019 @ 10:53pm
Beautiful, highly detailed route with the authentic feel of an Australian branch line. Lots of variation with multiple level crossings and challenging gradients - I really had a blast.
Great work Bradillo, looking forward to V2!
Bradillo  [author] 27 Aug, 2018 @ 1:50am
@ HotChillies Thanks mate, you will certainly need the CPRR 4-4-0 n.60 Jupiter DLC for the branch line track and bridges.
As far as i know the Hatchet Hill is still available here. https://steamhost.cn/sub/11113/
timahoo 26 Aug, 2018 @ 1:59pm
Really nice looking route. Wish I had a couple of the less common DLCs (CPRR, & Hatchet Hill Quarry which is now retired) as I had missing track at some parts.
mokum 19 Aug, 2018 @ 4:13pm

RolandBP 21 May, 2018 @ 10:31pm
What an iconic route, the detail put into the scenery is just great.
Nice to see no lines of 2D trees surrounding the track and blocking ones views.
I have posted a link to the route on the Free forums.
JocK 16 Feb, 2018 @ 8:33pm

saska1946 13 Jan, 2018 @ 2:50pm
Struth cobber the Routes a bloody beauty.
There is so much scope for TS 2018 for oz Routes for both Mainline and abandoned tracks.
Will you be adding more scenery to Kilkoy.

Cheers,
aussiebob.
R.Thom 13 Jan, 2018 @ 1:50pm
Hatchet hill is still available, found here: https://steamhost.cn/sub/11113/
rockyandjohn 12 Jan, 2018 @ 10:32pm
She is a little ripper great to see more aussie routes I think DTG are missing the boat overlooking Australian content. With our mix of UK / US practice and equipment both those markets would find something of intrest here. May be what we need is a TS2018 equivalent of Paul Hogan to reel them in. Your work is another shrimp on the Barbie. Ps when available where would I find Sams reskins. Regards Big W
RhinoAC 12 Jan, 2018 @ 6:41am
