Ðrim 31 Aug, 2018 @ 3:43am
Do you plan on updating your mods for the definitive edition?
Heinz234  [author] 2 Aug, 2018 @ 9:37am
Thank you Robotlegs. That's realy nice to hear.
Livillain 2 Aug, 2018 @ 8:35am
Just want to say that I ran a campaign featuring this map, and it received by far the most positive reaction from the players of all the settings. Absolutely phenomenal work, Heinz. :steamhappy:
Heinz234  [author] 2 Aug, 2018 @ 12:22am
Sorry Grandyno but I am not going to remove those chandeleiers as I think of them as an important paret of the interiors, and if I ever do another map with interiors where they would look good, they will be there again.

I suggest you get rid of mods that have the bad practice of breaking things instead.
Gandyno 1 Aug, 2018 @ 6:03pm
Awesome map! Do you think you could upload a version without those chendaliers? I know it's JRaven's mod issue but he doesn't seem to answer anymore

Wow this scene is just awesome as fuck - I love the size, the details and the hidden levels in this scene. Definitly 5/5 and favorite for me!
Heinz234  [author] 19 Mar, 2018 @ 5:19am
I know you mean well guys, but this chandelier thing has been haunting me ever since the game launched, and I did spend quite some time trying to fix a problem that I did not create or can fix to begin with, but I am still getting the "negative" comments instead of the one that actually causes the problem.

And if it hadn't been for Robotlegs I still wouldn't know what was going on as I don't use Ravens.
I guess you guys can understand this whole thing annoys me greatly.
Ðrim 18 Mar, 2018 @ 11:15pm
Sorry didnt mean to shit on your mod in any way. You are doing great stuff just like Robotlegs said. Been trying to reach JRaven myself but no reply.
Livillain 18 Mar, 2018 @ 8:58pm
What it seems like is that JRaven overwrote the wagon wheel instead of creating a new object with the wagon wheel template which would have been more responsible as it would have improved compatability with other mods.

Heinz, you do excellent work. Keep it up. This is to date still the best map on the workshop.

I'm going to try and contact JR for the project files so I can fix this issue.
Heinz234  [author] 18 Mar, 2018 @ 3:51am
Perhaps comments about my chandeliers should be taken to the mod that actually causes the issue. My add-ons don't overwrite anything nor do they mess with mods created by others, like Raven's one does.
Ðrim 18 Mar, 2018 @ 1:32am
One of my favorite maps out there! Just a pity that the JRaven mod mess with your own chandeliers. I'm guessing you have used wagon wheels for the chandeliers? Looks like it, the candles are regular ones which I can edit/remove. But the whole chandelier is solid surface so cant remove it if I wanted to. Since I can place wagon wheels as objects players/npcs will walk ontop of it. https://i.imgur.com/vKoOPnl.jpg

The JRaven mod is essential for my scene making, just shame he seems to have abandoned it, placing tables or other objects under them helps from getting players to fly up ontop of them atleast but the camera is really messy also because of this issue. Tried swapping the list order of the mods but it didnt help.

That is some top class bug hunting right there Robotleg. Respect from me!
Heinz234  [author] 20 Jan, 2018 @ 11:19pm
Thanks for letting me know Robotlegs.
Does the problem persist if you move my levels to the bottom of the list so they are loaded last?
Or top so they are loaded first?
Livillain 20 Jan, 2018 @ 5:30pm
Figured out what addon it was.

JRavens GM Toolkit I Larger Scenes and More Objects

Sorry it took so long! Narrowing it down from ~30 active addons took a while.
Heinz234  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:32pm
I apreciate your feedback and would love to know what mod is causing the problem so I can add that info to the discription.
Livillain 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:30pm
Disabled all other mods currently running on the campaign and it resolved the issue.

I guess i'll test it after each one I introduce over time and see if I can narrow it down.

Until then, thanks again for being so responsive and helpful. I'll also direct this towards the author of the offending mod if I manage to find the culprit.
Heinz234  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:30pm
You might want to try disabeling my mod from your current campaign, reload, make a new save and then enable the mod again. Maybe that helps.
Livillain 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:26pm
Very strange. I made a new instance of the map in my current campaign and the issue is persisting. That's leading me to believe that it's an interaction with another mod; probably not something on your end at all - though I still wonder how the hell it's happening.
Heinz234  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:25pm
please let me know if you run into any (other) issues. I hate it when there are problems with my levels and will fix any you might encounter. :)
Livillain 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:23pm
That seemed to fix it. Thank you so very much!

I'm not really sure why that happened - maybe it was just a one-off problem of some kind. Possibly a negative interaction with another mod?

Edit: I tested on a new campaign. I will try messing with load order etc on my current campaign so I can either replicate or fix it that way (if the issue is still present).
Heinz234  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:22pm
I am glad it's fixed. I still think it's utterly strange that only a few people have this problem and would love to know what is causing it.
Livillain 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:16pm
I'll try the update and see if that fixes it.
Livillain 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:16pm
Yeah, it seems to happen to the other ones as well. I noticed there were 3 more in the "rich" stone building - the only one that doesn't have an issue is the one over the table in that building, and that's because it's directly over a table (which of course cannot be walked on). The display case mostly prevents the one above it from being stood on, but part of it still can be.

It also happens upstairs/downstairs in any of the rooms with a chandelier.

All of the ones in this basement do it as well:

Updated.
Heinz234  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 12:03pm
Do the other chandeliers in the map have the same problem? (they should because they are copies of the ones in the tavern). Anyways, even though I never have been able to duplicate this problem, I made all chandeliers now also "click through" and hope it will fix the problem. The map should be updated in a few minutes.
I also made a forum poste here: http://larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=640905#Post640905 and your input would be apreciated.

These 3 chandeliers all have the same issue.
Heinz234  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 11:26am
This strange @Robotlegs
I just checked the chandeliers and all parts are "walk through". I have no idea what's causing this. Can you post a screenshot please? Maybe it helps me figuring out what the problem is.
Livillain 18 Jan, 2018 @ 11:14am
Let me start off by saying I absolutely LOVE this map. It is -phenomenal- in design.

However, I have encountered a pretty serious issue with the inn/tavern. The chandeliers that hang from the ceiling interfere with movement. Characters and NPCs can't walk under them; they quickly run up on top of them instead. For such a central building to use for roleplaying, that kinda kills the immersion. I wouldn't mind fixing it myself, but I can't find a way to import workshop addons into the Divinity Engine 2. Would you be able to do that?
Heinz234  [author] 14 Jan, 2018 @ 3:11pm
Thanks Tiqon.
Very much apreciated.
Tiqon 14 Jan, 2018 @ 1:09pm
