There are suggestions online to port this to DE (with some changes and upscaling) and use it for the Byzantines, Bulgarians, and two new civs, the Georgians and Armenians. I think that's a good idea if making an entirely new set is not feasible (which it not only is, but is also preferred in my opinion).

AbeJin created a Castle Age version of the Byzantine dock which is really fitting in my opinion.

Im sorry, appreciate you enjoy the set which is great! - but I myself only play DE now, and less of that than I would like to due to real life commitments. It wont be happening :/

Look catbarf, I know that it must be dificult creating the fortified walls. But couldn't you atleast finish the Docks?.pleeeeeease. (Sory if there are mistakes in my spelling. English is NOT my motherlangues)

@Balam Ajaw Given how another guy made a trade workshop for his Italian building set and he was cool with it, I don't see anything wrong with doing that, especially given what he said above about not making one of his own. I say go for it.

Just wanted to second the suggestions to make ths only affect the Byzantines. I've disable the mod becuase it's too werid to see Persians or Saracens with these buildings, even though they look great for Byzantines.

That is because this isn't an IA mod- this is designed for the base game. It changes all of the ME sets to the Byzantine set shown.

I think there is a specific version for IA elsewhere on the Workshop, using the same designs with permission. You need that version.

Unfortunately there is no fix (unless the Forgotten Empires developers action it), the issue is actually in the files for the African Kingdoms expansion which uses the same SLP number for the ME and Italian mill blades. Any change impacting one will also impact the other.

@catbarf, This is an awesome set, but somewhere in the files, it replaces not only the Middle-Eastern Mill, but also the Italian/Portugese Mill. I hope this is a simple fix

Catbarf, first of all, big fan, love your work, was with you back with the mediterranean set. Would it be possible to use the Eastern European sails for this set? Looking at history, the Byzantines used the Orthodox Cross as their main religious symbol. I hope this set is soon completed and then ported over to [IA], best of luck to you!

hallo Catbarf. Haven't heard from you for a while. I geuss you must have a creative blocade or something. By the way, I once wrote about coping stone gates slp and rename them to get the fortified wall slp. Just ignore it, I have looked deeper into it and no it isn't the same. I hope you soon gather strengh to finish this mod. It is so good. And to thoose who says its not working anymore. Where did you got that idea from?. It works nice for me.

Congratulations for this almost complete set, Catbarf! Would it be too much to ask for the addition of a cross on the top of the church? It'd be the only complaint I'd have with your mod :) Thank you very much for your work, and I hope you'll consider my suggestion! Best regards.

Uh, hello mister Catbarf.

Can you please re-upload the origonal version? I like this one very much for the Byzantians, but the origonal version just felt right for the turks. See, I'm using the IA mod and have made almost every civ in game match their historic counterparts (more or less) and it's a pain that the Turks have to currently share the Byzantian buildings.

Could you please make an IA version of origonal build set just for the Turks?

@ Konstruedled - I did a post on that couple of pages back on 18 March. There is no fix forn this issue unless the devs patch it.

Great mod! Although I've found when playing as the byzantines and an AI player is the italians, their mills get the modded mill graphic over the top of their italian mill, very strange to see! Haven't tested it in any other cases though

Strange. When I doubletjeck the computer says that the page is not found. But when I press the link in my favorites on web there is no problems. Try This: Voobly choose Age of Empires II: The Conquerors game, then go to forum, Custom Scenario > Mod Design > Guides > SLP Documentation. Then you should be there. Good Luck

Ohhh so it is a small "gathering strengh for the final work?" BTW. you do know that you can reuse a LOT off the Stone Gates for the Fortified Gates. Actually I think it is mearly the last point in the construction where you need to tinker a little. Otherwise you can copy the SLP-file and rename it for the proper SLP file, (Use think link to get an easy list of the SLP files name https://www.voobly.com/forum/thread/200226) .

Simple answer - each column was about 1 hour of work maximum. Trade workshop would be approx 7-9 hours.

Great Eye-candy. But couldn't you wait with thoose untill AFTER you have finished the walls and CA docks?. You keep saing you are a pure MP player, but thoose eye-candies are just the same as a Trade Workshop: A scenario item that you can't build in MP. Soo, why do you want to make thoose eyecandies, but not the Trade Workshop?. It is your mod. It's just that I really wish to see the missing list being emptied out.

Another eye-candy / scenario item has been added. Constantines Column (12th century version) now replaces Stelea B.
