I love the mod, but it saddens me that the harvest is worse than without the mod.
As for the size and workers in general, just keep in mind that the bigger the single field, the more time worker runs through it towards the nearest barn, while the crops decay due to worsening weather.

Up there, only the spacing between trees was equalized both dimensions, so there is 1 empty tile between them horizontally and vertically. Is that what you was asking about, Captain Seasick?
I personally know there's a LOT of people that've been wanting a mod like that, but they either do some other shit too, like making orchards produce 5x as much (seriously, I actually saw a mod that did exactly that! Gamebreaking much?!), or the mods are for outdated versions of the game or some other thing that made them largely unuseable.
