This mod doesn't end the schism with miaphysites and nestorian but I managed to mend them if anyone wants to know

For posterity: to mend the syriac schism you need to edit the file MES_EMF_decisions.txt and change c_mesopotamia to c_hisn_kayf and b_martyropolis to b_siird

When you try to mend the Apostolic Schism as Orthodox, you require control of the Barony of D'razark, which is supposed to be located in the county of Sis. However, in the earlier start dates like 867 that barony does not exist.

The EMF module of HIP includes the other religions
Imperial_Taizu 5 Sep, 2019 @ 7:57am
Is there another mod that includes Maronite and the other religions?

Finally got around to checking the mod.

@The Nightmare & Klee96
I just did that decision in a test save and it worked.
make sure your religion has 75% authority

Only the decisions
Arekusanda 13 Aug, 2019 @ 11:53am
Silly question, does this mod itself add the new religions or simply the schism decisions for the new religions which you need HIP for?
Tempted  [author] 1 Aug, 2019 @ 12:31pm
Will check it

Hi,
i have the same problem like "the Nightmare" with the mending of syriac schism.
The Nightmare 27 Jul, 2019 @ 10:26pm
mending the syriac schism doesn't work as an orthodox roman
it has all the requirements in green but it shows two lines at the end of requirements and shows green next to it but i cant enact the decision

Based on "extensive research" (I skimmed a few Wikipedia articles), I don't think Maronite should be included as trying to replace Orthodoxy. They're apparently Catholic, and there was never a Schism, they just got cut off from the rest of the Catholic church when their area was taken over by Arab Muslims. They then evolved a bit differently in isolation. So if anything they should merge into Catholicism.

I have had no problems installing this or removing this to/from a save game
Enmerkar 19 Jan, 2018 @ 7:07am
Does this work with savegames?
Tempted  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 7:37am
Added pictures with specific locations requirements and added to desc
Captain No-Beard 18 Jan, 2018 @ 7:10am
Ah, then you should include that in the 2 lists of requirements above.
Tempted  [author] 18 Jan, 2018 @ 3:19am
Yes you need holy sites and/or patriarch sees
Captain No-Beard 17 Jan, 2018 @ 8:27pm
Wait, so you can mend the schism just by being an emperor? You don't need holy sites or anything? That seems like it would be a bit on the easy side. It's somewhat tough to mend the schism as the Byzantine Empire, and they start off as emperor-rank.
