I got softlocked in the center area by fizzling the cube on the lightbridge switch while trying to ride the elevator . It was still an enjoyable puzzle regardless

I love monoportal maps. I didn't find any easy unintended solutions, maybe I'll attempt to raise my skill level to do a hard one. Also after giving myself the portal gun it no longer disappears.

Nice puzzle! I enjoyed the narrative of stretching the bridge long distances with multiple consequences.

Oh it says that up there lol

For some reason when I quickloaded (F7) I lost the portal gun.

Still an excellent puzzle.

Really nice single portal puzzle. Thanks!

Really nice puzzle with some neat moves. I especially liked the visuals. Thumbs up and added to my favorites.

This might be one of my favorite maps of all time. The visuals are amazing, the reuse of surfaces and moves was amazing (especially the light bridge placement used to get the standard cube also used to get to the elevator, I really loved that) , and an amazing puzzle all around. Great job!

@subpoena colada Not sure what could be the cause, maybe the large goo pit, I haven't seen complaints about it before so that is weird.

Getting some really terrible framerate drops in this chamber.

@leomievs Thank you! Monoportal maps are definitely interesting because they require completely different thinking, but you can do some cool stuff with it like walking through fizzlers. Thanks for playing, and lol that picture, never seen that happening before.

Very nice map! Not too hard as you said, but still clever and very enjoyable. I've been trying to make a monoportal map too but couldn't come up with something satisfying yet, I find it quite hard because the logic is really different from usual maps and I'm not used to it. That's why I can appreciate great monoportal maps even more. By the way while making my way to the piston platform that should have been lowered, I stumbled on this ! It was quite funny :)
K7 Avenger  [author] 31 Jul, 2018 @ 7:59am
@Nobody No-One interesting, I think you are the first person to find that one because I would have fixed it earlier otherwise. I'll see what I can do to fix it. Thanks
Nobody No-One 30 Jul, 2018 @ 11:12am
Very nice-looking map. Pretty easy but there are some nice moves. Thumbs up.

I think I may have found a trapping situation as I was experimenting with a certain move:

Weighted cube is on the button to turn on the light bridge. The bridge is set up like this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1459478446
If you press the timed button to respawn the cube, jump down onto the lower part of the bridge, and run into the area with the piston platform, like this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1459479657
Then I think you're trapped once the cube respawns, because there are no other accessible portal surfaces.

I enjoyed it very much. The layout was a bit confusing at first because of the combination of separated areas and the monoportal. It took me a little while to sort out but got there in the end. Here's my blind run: https://youtu.be/WCU4YuiZU3c

Great Puzzle. Very inovative. The lack of a quick save is kind of a pain.

Nice! One tricky setup that can be missed easily

Very nice map indeed. I was sat there trying to work out the ending only to realise I was already done :P

Excellent puzzle! It took me a while to start off, as I didn't know what to do. The layout was pretty confusing at first, but it was still fun and satisfying to solve. Thumbs up and favorite :)

Thanks for letting me know, no probs, most excellent puzzle :)
K7 Avenger  [author] 24 Jan, 2018 @ 7:51am
@bullfrog I just heard that this is indeed a bug, TeamSpen is aware of the issue. Sorry for the annoyance.
K7 Avenger  [author] 24 Jan, 2018 @ 7:44am
@bullfrog Thank you! Huh, that is odd, must be a bug then, I saw someone else with the same problem.
bullfrog 23 Jan, 2018 @ 11:30pm
Excellent puzzle. OK, it’s ”not a hard puzzle”, but it’s not easy either, especially working out the overall layout and its connectivity, but once you do it’s really good and aesthetically outstanding – thumbs up and added to favourites. As an aside; on my first attempt, I saved the game when I was up on the piston platform and about to jump onto the light bridge, I then fell in the goo during the next move; when it restarted, I had no portal gun and the gun and its holder had not reappeared, so I had to restart game from the beginning.
K7 Avenger  [author] 21 Jan, 2018 @ 5:52am
@Fumbly Bumbly Thanks so much Fumbly. Funny you mention the aesthetics, because that is something I always really appreciate in your maps too :) Thanks for the favourite!
K7 Avenger  [author] 21 Jan, 2018 @ 5:51am
@Mikeastro Glad you liked it. I'm not sure, they have always worked for me. Maybe you could try completely deleting beemod and install the newest version?
K7 Avenger  [author] 21 Jan, 2018 @ 5:49am
@Atom Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
Fumbly Bumbly 20 Jan, 2018 @ 7:17pm
Thumbs up and a favourite!

Excellent! Puzzle was really fun, and I like the logic of the timed dropper and how that incorporates into the solution. I'm particularly envious of your amazing aesthetics in your maps, I think this one is by far your prettiest.
Mikeastro 20 Jan, 2018 @ 4:37pm
Nice medium difficulty test! After you get a hang of how on earth the gigantic room actually works, it's not so hard. Though if I may ask one stupid question: what's the trick to getting those Portal Stories: Mel-tracks to play using beemod? Just selecting them like any other leaves me with nothing but silent test chambers :/

Nice job, using a single color portal is different.
jgaultney 18 Jan, 2018 @ 10:32am
A great puzzle! I was stuck for a long time, right at the end, until I realized that what I
thought was an anti-trapping element was really a solution element. :steamfacepalm:

Thumbs up and favorited.
