Transmogrifier already uses a variable number of charges depending on how many transformations you have. I can think about limiting to max one transformation per floor.

I agree, it still feels a bit OP. I'm not sure how to further balance, I'm already modified the charges to vary based on number of tansformations. I was considering maybe adding in a luck based percentage of Transmogrifier doing absolutely nothing, not sure.

It adds and removes a transformation item when activated. The player doesn't see it happen, but it counts 1/3 towards a transformation.

I did temporary transformations for another mod, Giant ? Block . It ended up being a real pain, I had to write LUA code for each transformation. This is not a route I feel like undertaking for all 15 transformations in the game.

I would say the best way to balance this would be making the transformation temporary for a room, but I guess you can't remove transformation programmatically?

I've modified Transmogrifier to use a variable number of charges (3-12) depending on how many transformations Isaac currently possesses. Let me know what you think.

i think that its ok if its bad early and great late. look at Void, it does barely anything when you pick it up but it gets stronger and stronger as time goes on

Another great mod from supahflysaac and Akeldama. shupahflysaac's awesome coding skills + Akeldama's amazing sprites and artwork, they were able to make a balanced (not op but not not bad) item! I would like to see more of these, keep on making more mods!

Thank you for the feeback. I'm struggling a bit with balancing the item. Initially when Isaac doesn't possess many items\transformations Transmogrifier feels underpowered. This is because early uses of Transmogrifier are unlikely to complete a transformation. Later on Transmogrifier feels OP because Isaac is guaranteed transformations.

I'm looking into a way to make Transmogrifier have a variable number of charges based on how many transformations Isaac has.

i would say give it a twelve charge (if thats the highest) because battery's are easy to find
