If you searched for "unoctquadium reactor" ingame, it does make sense that you couldn't find it as the actual name is XQ-69 Unoctquadium Prototype Reactor.

The brown dwarf requirement is very limiting. Perhaps there should be an alternative even if it's less convenient and or more expensive.

you can use any sort of power generation to power the X-76 Experimental Particle Accelerator, i would just recommend using the unoctquadium reactor as it generates the exact amount of power the particle accelerator uses and because it simply needs an extreme amount of power. @Paladinboyd

Well, updates or no updates, this mod is just amazing and i don't think i will stop using it anytime soon. You did a great job!

During the constant update changes that comes with Keen updates,i have stopped updating this nice mod.I had created that mod in the past with the idea to make my own dedicated server based on that mod and other similar ones.
I have found this modded server ( https://rebels-games.com/ ),that uses similar block upgrades,techs and progression system involving mining exotic materials and pvp related things, and they offer a very good modded server experience.They are very good at what they doing, so give it a try.It was something similar that i had in my mind but they do it in a professional way....

Am I missing something? I cannot create synthetic diamonds in the transmuter thingy... It will turn carbon ore into carbon ingots but will not accept the finished ingots as an input for making diamonds... So far I've Shift-F10 'ed my diamonds but it would be nice to follow the complete proceedure.

nope.You just fly close to the surface with a big ore detector,like scanning the surface and it will find resources...

If you can keep shields up on a server, than anybody without shields that want to attack you are in for a nasty surprise, but if they are prepared and intend on bringing your shields down, you would get killed.

Hi. Awesome mod, i like it. Can you make a smaller prototype reactor? I mean 3*3*3Size with 40-70TW output. Easyer to place of ships because original reactor is gigantic size of ships.Thy.

You might try Cython's energy shields. They're pretty good at protecting your ship from damage from weird sources and they can get pretty strong.

Its meant to be like this.You cannot stay very long to this hell.To be able to leave you should be quick in ur trip down there or repair ur ship to take off.If the modded thrusters break even with 1% dmg,its not suitable to use them to go down there,so use vanilla hydrogen ones.

to add to my previous comment, i use quite a bit of other mods and i just noticed that the thrusters that i use break very fast. so for the truster to function, it needs 100% health and so it breaks within the first few seconds. that's why i falways fall to the surface like a brick

this mod looks pretty cool, i have it installed and it works just fine. there is just one problem: now that i have spawned in the brown dwarf, i just can't find a way to get close to it before my ship bruns to crisps and so i'd like to know what i could do to get to the surface without cheating. or is there any way to disable the damage from the atmosphere? it bothers me that i can't get the resource for all this cool antimatter stuff

@ZergLingTV: Old mod. Some of the blocks are actually copied from other mods and therefore incompatible with those mods. Shut down any other engine mods you are using.

this would conflict with graphene armor, as it would cause the carbon to be confused with the graphene carbon

I don't know about last. It has to be above MWI on the screen. I dunno if that means 'last' or 'first'. And yes it still creates conflicts, but then it wins them instead of losing.

Ah... the torpedo launcher does not like point defense lasers. They shot down the torpedo while part of my ship was inside the blast radius. I'm flying about half a ship.

I wouldn't say it's completely incompatible. It just replaces the magnetic coil cannon and one of the forward-firing guns, or vice versa if you put Mexpex first in the load order so that your torpedoes and big gun can't be used. Likewise the Hyperion reactors (or other modpacks that contain them) replace your unoctiquadium reactor and vice versa. Just gotta make choices in the load order.

This mod with Mexpex Warfare modpack is not compatible.Its very difficult to make it a standalone clean mod.

Unoctiquadium reactor also does not appear on the build menu. Managed to tweak another mod to produce the needed power... produced some antimatter... antimatter torpedo launcher ALSO not on the build menu. Only thing I can use it for is the rifle. Which is interesting.

The VX-99 blaster doesn't seem to exist in my game. Instead, in the Antimatter category, I see Mexpex Warfare's magnetic coil cannon. Conflict maybe?

The VX-99 Blaster don't shoot/aim on enemy Ships, any idea why? I removed the MWI mod so i can use this one.

back in the day, i managed to make a "special" shielded ship that only used antimatter items for thrust, reactors, and turrets. it was a boss in PvP but very costly to run
