@butters
Hello. This mod has ceased development, but it partially lives on in one of the latest mods I've worked on, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2022845934

1.28.3.0 mod working?
Casual909 24 Oct, 2018 @ 10:14am
Will this ever become up to date?
Dynamo128  [author] 10 May, 2018 @ 7:06pm
Ah, I do not see any ads as I am using ublock origin. Fair enough.
King Duris 10 May, 2018 @ 6:03pm
First, I'm not on windows. Second, the linkleads to a link that said buy WinZip. Thanks tho
Dynamo128  [author] 10 May, 2018 @ 2:04pm
Uh... Download 7zip, a free, open-source file extractor. Why would you ever want to use WinZip? Besides, doesn't Windows come with an automatic .zip extractor?
King Duris 10 May, 2018 @ 12:56pm
is there any way you can open the new patch without buying WinZip
Dynamo128  [author] 8 May, 2018 @ 10:29am
Unfortunately as I am currently busy with university as well as other projects I won't have much time to do the planned expansions I had for this, however I will update it every time BT itself updates.

Hi, I like this whole series of Beyond Typus mods as it really enhances the gameplay. I was wondering if you would consider adding British India (pakistan, india, burma, basically all of the british raj, etc), or even malaysia/indonesia/indochina? I know this mod just focuses around the African continent, but was just curious, nonetheless.
Dynamo128  [author] 19 Apr, 2018 @ 4:39pm
Alright, the patch is here. Unfortunately I seem to be unable to update the mod via the steam workshop, so for now I will offer you a direct download via mediafire:

https://pastebin.com/fdEXEi0J

Extract the folder's content in your \mod folder for Europa Universalis IV (located in C:\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod\) and it should work fine with the new version.

Hope you enjoy.

Apologies for the delay. I am currently working on a patch, although it will not have the additions I was working on but it should work just fine with 1.25 and BT 9.0. Expect it very shortly.

@Maumau I am sorry, I did not mean to be unfriendly in any way. I was just meaning there was already an answer below. He said he's busy, he's probably still busy. You did nothing and I apologize if I came off rude.
Maumau 16 Apr, 2018 @ 12:26pm
What have I done to you to get such an unfriendly answer? All I asked for was a little statement on the progress since the estimated time frame of "next week" is already over. I neither told him to hurry or anything similar nor only wrote "update pl0x", so I dont get your problem with my comment.
guessi'lldie 16 Apr, 2018 @ 11:37am
@ Maumau "The update will likely be coming within the next week or so, currently a bit busy with a few things." Read the comment literally right below you...
Maumau 16 Apr, 2018 @ 11:01am
I dont want to sound rude in any way, but are you working on a patch?
Dynamo128  [author] 7 Apr, 2018 @ 9:15am
The update will likely be coming within the next week or so, currently a bit busy with a few things.
King Duris 7 Apr, 2018 @ 8:34am
pls update for 1.25
guessi'lldie 8 Mar, 2018 @ 12:29pm
Yeah, I fixed it! It was a flat political map mode mod that for some reason was causing a crash.
Dynamo128  [author] 8 Mar, 2018 @ 5:11am
well then I'm afraid you're out of luck. unless you tell me what it says there is no way I can help you. my guess is that you're using some other mod that makes it incompatible.
guessi'lldie 7 Mar, 2018 @ 7:43pm
Its a wall of text so idk
Dynamo128  [author] 7 Mar, 2018 @ 7:39pm
Can you check the error.log file or whatever and see what it says?
guessi'lldie 7 Mar, 2018 @ 7:24pm
This seems to cause my game to crash when loading "maplogic"
[24th] LtCol. Frederick Fillmore 28 Feb, 2018 @ 3:32pm
Yeah it seems that GFX overhaul is the issue, I'll have to decide on another map mod lol
Dynamo128  [author] 27 Feb, 2018 @ 5:31am
try without the former and see if it still happens
[24th] LtCol. Frederick Fillmore 25 Feb, 2018 @ 2:30pm
@Dynamo128 I'm using GFX Overhaul and a revolutionary font mod. Not sure if that affects it or not?
Dynamo128  [author] 25 Feb, 2018 @ 1:31pm
It happens to me sometimes (but not always) too when I load TBARW with this. The reason (as far as I can tell) is that the mod loading order must not be to TBARW's liking, because there is absolutely nothing in my mod that changes the interface or graphics in any way.
Dynamo128  [author] 25 Feb, 2018 @ 1:30pm
Are you using any graphic mods?
[24th] LtCol. Frederick Fillmore 25 Feb, 2018 @ 1:11pm
For some reason when i load the game with this mod the map has like huge shadows of continents off to the side. Like Africa for example, there is a huge silhouette of africa right next to it, same thing with iceland and america.

You are 100% right that imperialism and especially german imperialism is beyond the timeframe, it's just something that caught my eye - Differences in the regions provided versus territories I got on my mind from looking at old maps. At any rate thanks for the explanation.
Dynamo128  [author] 3 Feb, 2018 @ 7:59am
With the exception of guinea and niger, the regions have simply been mostly adopted from the EU4 continental regions themselves, with some adjustments here and there to make them a little more balanced. Furthermore keep in mind that german imperialism is well beyond the scope of EU4 and this mostly focuses on what would have happened if early colonialism in africa had succeeded (some attempts were made, but they all failed due to bad weather and the greater focus on the americas at the time). Honestly speaking, I'd love to more properly recreate certain regions like Rhodesia but currently there simply are not enough provinces for that, but once Beyond Typus reworks Africa some more I'll definitely expand the colonial regions to be more comprehensive.
Argakyan 3 Feb, 2018 @ 5:03am
It looks like an interesting addon I'll try out. However, I'd be interested in reading how / why you chose those colonial regions with exactly those provinces - for instance why, compared to imperialism irl with german east-africa, the coasts of east africa are in one colonial region and inland provinces are in another region.
Dynamo128  [author] 17 Jan, 2018 @ 5:59pm
Let me know if you manage to run this successfully with other BT mods. Cheers.
