Thanks for the mod, I like the integrated storage the new improved version of the buildings have. Do you think you could do this mod so that the storage only takes venison and leather? Now it is also used to store wool and fish, so after a while, it stays at 100% filled, no matter how many vendors I have in the markets.

I'm confused about something. The description claims, "Hunters carry their catch now (in vanilla it was picked up by labourers)." In both the vanilla game and this mod, hunters AND laborers pick up the resources from the animals. Does this change pickup behavior?

Honestly, idk. I don't like total conversion mods, I prefer the way of small improvements, so never played megamods, CC and others, sorry.

This is a great idea. Storage Sheds was one of my favorite mods, because I hated having to build a HUGE barn next to my hunter and gather just so a vendor could pick up their stuff. Plus, who says they can't put their stuff inside a room in their building? It's not like they're living in it, lol.

Oh don't worry... I know how to play Banished. I was more talking about it from a gaming point of view, I wasn't basing it on realism. I decided to test the vanilla game without this mod and I found that in the game's code the hunters will take their food to the storage barn / cart anyway. I always assumed that that is what was in the game code but after reading the description of this mod I wasn't sure, so I simply tested it for myself. But thanks so much for patronizing me, that was very kind of you.

thanks Yandersen, i already had tested these, and it was sort of kidding, pulling your leg or whatever latest smiling joke (sorry i am an old lady not even speaking good english language).
but it could be a good suggestion to work on a larger amount of professions.

Now to Briddy_G, Hi. May I "shake your brain" a bit. You are supposed to live during middle age ou colonisation, around 17th century. During that time, gatherers hunters and foresters and so on did not bring their goods to be sold to village at each time they got a deer or a basket of roots. They are supposed to leave in "auto-suffisance" and go to fairs once or twice a year (sorry i do not know the english words). So i suggest you build a little barn near these installations in the middle of the spot as well as three/four little houses. The laborers from your village will come and pick up things. But who am i to give lessons .... just one playing banished since the beginning ... :steamhappy:

It's really surprising that laborers used to pick up these foods; no wonder early game always had such a big problem with food production. Why was the game designed like this originally? So strange. Makes no sense to have people clearing resources ALSO picking up food when you have someone else assigned to it specifically. Thank you for all these mods and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future <3
