Take the AR2 and shrink it down 0.009 scale, and use it as the view model. It has bones to which I can affix the prop sword, making something that resembles the weapon in 1st person view. Using a similer trick, I affix a prop to the playermodel bone "lrigscull".
And as King_CreepaLot has pointed out, these are mouth swords. What need is there for a hoof model if it's a hoof-free operation? Seems cheap, is cheap, but it works and works surprisingly well.
In any sense, it'd probably help if I'd changed the penetration effect. Now that know how, I can swap out the base files and ammotypes and make is so it won't "shoot through" struck enemies and props. But that's bit low on the todo list.
Fair for you, Mr.Capslock?
:(
Priorities man, keep them in line.
That implies that they all are missing parts, but some have what others don't. If I wasn't taking a break from the madness of it, I should look through and see what exactly is happening.
Thanks for telling me that, Alex. You gave me insight on how to fix this bloody trainwreck.
See if that helps."
A friend told me that this helped them with the exact same problem. All the melee weapon seem to share this defect, most likely because they all share the same base.
Don't worry Alex, it's not your fault, you're just another victim of my Kypher Pass quality of work. I'll see what I can do, though it may take a few tries to make something usable.
I only tested this for PPM2, and I didn't make it do certain things for different PMs like the Vape SWep does.

I have to admit, I have no bloody clue how to range the damage of a melee weapon. It's not like a gun where you have the basic assumption of "bigger the bullet, deadlier it is." I'll go back to my comrades and see if this can be fixed. My apologies if the weapons are a bit too powerful for your taste.
Personally, I was thinking about pulling back on the swing. Twisting the camera -90degress may be a little much.
We'll get there in the end.
