It's sad that developping that mod isn't interesting for you anymore, because playing it is one of the best total war experience out there.
1. Rather than removing resettlement entirely, maybe just turn it off for the ai. I know it's for "lore reasons" but if I'm surviving the apocalypse and running a prosperous empire it kind of sucks to be artificially limited, in the same way removing legacy techs was annoying in the base game.
2. In the same vein, I'd like unit sizes to be returned to normal. Battles just feel small and kind of lame. If people want to turn their settings down to be more thematic that should be their choice.
3. More factions, or at least more playable ones. The map just feels kind of empty with super-factions owning most of the playable space.
4. I know it's kinda half the mod's shtick, but an option to turn off the Undergod invasion would be nice. I love the ice age alt-history scenario on its own, but having a near-unkillable fantasy faction spawn and ruin every campaign isn't very fun :(
my current playthrough is at the year 665 (Turn 101) and every time I try to end the turn, the game keeps crashing as the next turn is about to start. Do you have any ideas of how I can fix the problem? Thanks!
I'm not a fan of the change in the roman faction. To the point I might edit the mod to play the original Byzantine empire in the mod. I think the appearance of the units is well done (except for the floating chainmail), but not to my taste.
Still, being at the head of an empire during an apocalypse with your empire being the only thing standing between doom and the survival of the human race is really nice!
The only issues are:
-I would put more factions, in particular some Germans, Nordics,Slavs and Nomads
-In my case the Undergod horde never appear
- Create discord, get some people on board, start a discussion, get help
- Get new, better units for the Undergod and his army
- Expand on the lore and the writing, I love it!
it well kill the infantry like
