Now that i think about it, i didn't strentghing shocks after trying the miner, might of been to heavy for the defualt setting it loaded with.

Nice, however the wheels trailer hitch need to be on block hicher and the wheels on the trailer need to be a corispoding one block higher. to clear the truck tires.

Just checking as it seems there is a few variations, the M985 with the self loading folding crane on the tail and a trailer with it?

i couldnt get the pistons to clip together at all without a block space in between them. and yes i think that truck would befit your mobile crane trailer quite nicely or maybe build it on top of the m985 as a complete straight truck. but i think having it with its own trailer would be pretty cool

I did not use any merges in this build, however, if you mean the stability of having so many pistons together without them flopping around them like a wet noodle, that is because I used the "share inertial tension". However after looking at the Oshkosh, was this comment meant to go under my mobile crane? The Oshkosh looks like a fun project, I most certainly can give it a go! :)

no matter what i do i cant get the pistons to merge like you did without it glitching all to high hell, how did you do it? i got a military rig am building off of and i cant copy it at all. it only lets me do one piston. maybe i can make a request and ask that you can do one with the oshkosh m985 military truck please?

you may also check to make sure that propulsion for the trailer wheels did not get turned on by accident, as wheels on sub grids will not function properly and may be locking it up.

Check to make sure when it is loaded to adjust the suspension strength to compensate for the increased weight, if that is not it, it is possible that the parking brakes on the trailer are set , in that case, back under the trailer, put the truck in park, attack that trailer, then release the parking brake. :)

the back wheels are not spinning, cant figure out how to make them work, the truck drives on ice fine, except for the trailer slidding everywhere, but on land it's much harder.

I have not had that bug yet Midnight, at least with wheels it may be, they did just do a major overhaul on them.

Yes, in creative mode you can paste the entirety of the truck, trailer, and drill into the game no problems. However projectors do not display subgrids, that is anything that is connected to the other end of a rotor, connetctor, or piston. Projectors are the only way to bring a blueprint build into a survival game, now if you wanted to be super cheaty, you could go to the load screen outside of the game, and change the settings to creative, paste the entire truck in, save, and then go back and change it back to survival XD

if i go creative mode and the the mod up the trailer will appear and the cab will also sorry bit of a noob at this

hey im sure the pistons was working but i think it was to high up maybe just lower it down a tad might do the trick,also do you get the bug with land vehicles you fall through the planet bugging out etc

Heya bud, I worked on trying to merge the grids, however I failed to think that eash and every piston is a sub grid which would all have to be merged together, I hate to sound lazy but it may be just easier to indeed disconnect the trailer and save it, weld up what you can of it and rebuild what didnt show up, rotors settings should still exist upon welding it up, but piston settings would have to be reset =/

fixed version involves using merge blocks to merge all grids to one grid which allows you cheat the projectors into showing a grid with sub grids, once completely welded, you simply grind off the blocks added to merge the sub grids to the main.

if you are attempting to weld it via a projector, projectors do not display sub grids, in which, in this case, the truck is the subgrid and even the drill is the subgrid of the trailer, to weld it up using a projector you would need to paste the whole thing into creative, disconnect the trailer, and then save the trailer seperately to weld, that would still leave the issue of the subgrid of the trailer, the drill, which wouldn't be as easy as it would need to be completely reconstructed by hand, I am currently on lunch break, but if I get time tonight I can post up a fixed version that you will be able to weld up from one projection.

the flat bed is there but its missing the drill on it and also the cab is missing
