You could try turning off the DLC via the game properties in Steam. Then go into the asset editor and see if you're still able to reproduce the asset without the DLC turned on.

Then I don't know what cause the problem. Maybe some settings in the Asset Editor... I will test it later but I can't promise anything. :/

Thanks for the info. Good to know where you based this asset off.

The vanilla single one-way train track is, however, definitely part of the free update ( click [skylines.paradoxwikis.com]). I was able to confirm this because I do have access to the vanilla single one-way train track, even though I do not have the DLC. Because of that, I find very confusing that I was not able to activate this asset in-game.

This asset based on the vanillia single one-way train track which is part of the DLC. I changed the line directions to both and not based on the tracks from the "One-Way Train Tracks" mod.

Thanks! The asset now actually pops up on the in-game content manager, but I cannot activate it because it says Mass Transit DLC is required. I think this is strange, because I do have access to the official vanilla one-way single tracks.

Maybe it is due to you having a certain setting and/or the DLC enabled when actually creating/saving the asset in the asset creator? Although this is just guessing for a possible cause.

Just to be sure, two-way single tracks are not supposed to be part of the vanilla game, right? These are only added through the One-Way Train Tracks' mod, correct? In that case, did you add the ability for bidirectional traffic through the road editor?

Check it! ;)

Is it possible to turn off this requirement in the workshop? As I don't have Mass Transit, I could then check for you whether it actually pops up or not. Would be really awesome to be able use these assets without having to get the DLC!

I am not sure but somebody wrote that the game says for him to need the dlc.

Are you sure? I don't have Mass Transit, but have one-way single tracks available in-game. I believe they got introduced as a free update at the introduction of the DLC. I also got bi-directional single tracks (what this asset is for right?) from the 'One-Way Train Tracks' mod.

Single tracks aren't in the vanilla game.

Why do you need the Mass Transit DLC for the single tracks? Single tracks are in the vanilla game, aren't they? It doesn't say you need the DLC for the double track variant.
