Well, remember that the silhouette is the model as a whole, details generally don't matter. You've got the ear-fins there, they would be more than enough to keep his head the same shape. It's usually the other slots, such as the back, that you need to be careful with.

Try something simple, like making the edge of the hood torn and ragged.

I am trying to stick to the old silhouette and colour scheme as much as possible, so I count that as a good thing. I'm not sure how much deviation from the vanilla outfit valve will allow so I'm playing it safe first time around. Thanks!

Excellent work, although I agree with Monsterlord in the fact that the silhouette didn't change too much (it might be too easily overlooked as a custom item).

I like it, but it doesn't seem to change his portrait at all really. Perhaps have it hanging over his face? Hangman hoods are meant to be full-face hoods after all.
