Hilarious description. I'm wondering, couldn't someone make it so it invisibles the armor underneath it? I use a mod called Invisible Helmets, or somesuch. Maybe someone could incorporate the same idea and no one will have a problem with clipping.

I really want to like this mod but sadly it broke my game.
Several characters where missing bodies because this mod clashed with other armour and item mods NPC's could get generated with.
Also it made skin clip through clothing and robes when character models where broader build - jsut the normal end of the slider for muscles, nothing modded.
Another clipping issue is with armour that is broader or has shoulder spikes, it will show. It sadly jsut looks off and ugly.

Anyway if a bit of clipping is fine for the future subscriber I think it can be a nice mod.
But don't use it when you have custom clothing and robes, they might bug out your NPC's.

Ok Question: I just became arch-mage and i have the normal arch mage robes and I consoled commanded the hoodless one so I can wear a helmet. But for some reason I can't wear the arch-mage robes. I still can wear other robes like the novice ones and adept ect. I am using heavy armor btw. is this a bug or do i another mod that is conflicting it like a skeleton mod? Please help it super bugging me lol

This is Such a great mod... you can try different styles... so far my character and his Followers have all adopted the Imperial Heavy Armor over Black Mage robes... looks great! hats off to the author(s)

Does it work for robes IN the vanilla game, but are only obtainable with a mod? Like the norcturnal robes? Not that it really matters if it doesn't set the armor to be invisible.

It's amazing. And if Trainwiz was only there to help the 5 best skyrim modders make the BEST mod (bigger than the game itself+DLC) it would be waaaaaaay funnier

Could I wear robes from other mods over my armor?

Tranwiz really does make really good mods, and really creepy ones as well.

Any way you could make it to where you could put robes over armor that came from a mod. Please dude, like my character would be perfect if you could make this happen.

We need a mod that allows armor to go with other armor.Just think about it and you'll start to like this stupid idea as much as I do.

It would be better if the emporer's robe was classed as a robe for this (BTW Arch-mages' robes and dragonplate looks epic)

The best armor to choose for this mod is Shrouded Armor since it is skin tight and doesn't penetrate through the robes as much as other armors.

Though I wish that all the armors didn't have holes in them. Even Tolfdir has a bunch of holes in his robes at the college.

What kind of vanilla robes? you any robes you find during vanilla skyrim? or do you need like a special ones from somekind of quest?

until recently this mod worked perfectly fine even with the magic modifier enhanced on my master destruction robes...
also until recently I did not need the Dragonborn patch...

was it changed? and if so ... why?
cause now I have both and still does not work (after it suddenly stopped working with just the vanilla one)

can i wear weak armour over strong armour? alsdo if so and a wear strong over weak does it affect my speed?

Finally someone understands! I ***ALWAYS*** wore a robe in Morrowind, or a skirt as a female character. I loved that look-especially the glitch where the bonemould pauldrons would stick out above the robe lol

Can you make it so that the armor doesn't show through the robes? I ant to be a mage but having to cast alteration spells is super annoying and I don't want armor showing through my robes.

it keeps removing my armor even on the latest addition to this mod used to work now it wont and when i go back to one that does it still wouldnt work i tried boss and boss found nothing wrong

...This mod made my character's thighs and loincloth show up through his DB robes. Maybe some other time.

it works great, only problem is for some reason the archmage robes go invisible and remove my body and are not a seperate item from the armors, but that is a small matter i use miraaks robes anyway.

i had to do a full hard reset install of skyrim recently and i unsubbed all my mods to stat a fresh new vanilla without mods, i have them all now, and i use the new body mod Touched by Dibella by theMilkdrinker, anyways the TBD body comes with its own armor clothing conversions, would this conflict with the new meshes?

just to say, some aspects in morrowind were really bad, i still prefer oblivion out of both of them anyway.

You probably have some mod affecting robes, meaning the robe armor piece doesn't match up the robe armoraddon (the actual skin of the robe)

I learned something, At the College of Winterhold, the mages underwear shows :P, Its not the new style Tolfdir, Wizards have style, but not when it comes to undergarments

call me braindamaged but will this work with mage robes because i am trying to do a mage but without armor i kinda suck, and i dont want to take the time to enchat things, all im asking is if say a robe that lets my magica regen 50% faster fit over my leather armor?
