Looks cool, but why on excalibur? xd I mean i dont think it suits him really, would be nice for vauban for example, would fit him quite okay i guess.

For some reason this helmet is unervving. like its lowkey nightmarish.

IDEA:

What if you were to make/add a holographic 'horn' onto the helmet so that it is visible every time the...scanner--thing moves past where the horn SHOULD be just so *IF* DE looks at this and tells you to "add Excalibur's signature horn on the helmet, please," and leaves it at that? Just a thought.

I can see why you would add this skin to Excalibur in particular. I get the feeling that the 'Pretech' model is supposed to be close to a representation of 'Rinzler' from the less than popular series named 'Tron'. Many will say that this skin belongs on Vauban but I disagree. The movements of the film Tron and the way Rinzler fights complements Excalibur well. While Excalibur's abilities may not be the best of use, the stats of him fit Rinzler's style a lot better than Vauban's. Though I will say that maybe the Guard suit from Tron would complement Vauban more than Rinzler's.

All in all I believe its a great skin. Well done! Though I would love to see something akin to a CLU or Dyson skin for Revenant. As the 'recoding' would complement his ability set tenfold.

Excellent work! I love the color combinations, the overall theme you got going on, it's really well captured like it has an idea going. BUT.

This is Not a skin for Excalibur, it robs him of his identity simply because this suit looks like a weapons type soldier that runs around with guns and grenades. Excalibur is a master swordsman, the one at the front slashing everything. Now this would look Extraordinary on Vauban and if you have the time I absolutely recommend you try to convert this to Vauban's model, it'll easily sell.

i want to say that the helmet doesnt really have a uniform shape, it would be perfect if it had like a shape for a regular HEAD shape like a bike helmet, but the idea is good

the overall look of the skin is cool, but the helmet looks too much like mag's helmet (which is sad, because I really love the energy effect you added to it) Maybe you can add something else to it to make it look a bit more like an excalibur helmet? personally I might recommend a solid shape splitting coming from the top of the helmet ( like the ancient greek helmets ) to replace excals signature horn

An interesting proof of concept, but it still requires a hell lot of work. Put more tiny bump textures on surface, so materials will look more PBR

Aaand there is a small update. Athough it's some pain to update all those renders, so you can look ant Sketchfab model for now (renders will be slightly later).
Helmet will take some more time, but I remember that too.

Reminds me of that fallout 4 mod, but i feel like it really reminds me of the default ash's skin and helmet without the tusks. I like the helmet effect though i just worry about how shiny based on the images provided it would be in game.Either way i do like it!

I like the idea but the skin looks too pristine. too neatly made and such. it almost looks like a straight jacket. the helmet could also use more detail. for example maybe a horn or something on it in excalibur's theme but say its made of energy?

Doesn't fit the general Warframe aesthetic, and as far as I know the deluxe Proto-Excalibur skin is as far back as historically possible that DE is willing to take it. So I'd be earnestly surprised if DE did accept this - then again, they did accept the hideous trash that is the Ayla.

Go complain on the official forums and take it up with DE's art department and SBigham, the guy who's literally designed a huge chunk of the game's cosmetics and enemies and so on. What do you mean by "normal weapons", and how exactly do you keep up with teammates or survive sortie levels when you refuse to parkour at all?
