1. Since the scopeless G3 runs on most of the default M16 animations, the equipping animation looks slightly awkward. However, it's a tiny detail that I can easily ignore.
2. The sound that plays when the magazine enters the gun during reloads makes a screech, similarly to some other outdated sound mods. Though, it's short enough that it isn't necessarily an ear rape, and I doubt I'll even notice it in the heat of a horde rush.
Despite these two small issues, this is an excellent mod - it actually looks better than the default M16. There is no noticeable model clipping, it looks smooth in first and third person, and I think I'm in love with this mod. It's simple, but it really works. Great job.
i think yes
In the screenshot I'm looking down so that's why it's that far up and all. It's sitting a lot better in game.
No, since I'm quite bad at animating.
Well, I tried this for ak47 with the default g3 anims, however the compile order of the animations are different, and since animations seems to screw up after decompile it's hard for me to get it to work. for example the problem i had with the compile on ak47 was that after i melee'd once it always used the "reach out" animation, it never changed.
This is not a sniper rifle, this is a assault rifle. I know though that the gun is named "military_sniper" in the game files.
