The LODs are set too low - the power lines disappear [imgur.com] when you zoom out even a little. Also, the behavior of the 800kv on water looks bugged. It seems like there is supposed to be some kind of concrete support or base, but it is not visible.

okay, so i've went out of my way and made a custom version of this asset but with the default, vanilla red blinking warning lights. the same kind found on the default power lines from the base game. if i may have your permission, i'll upload them to the workshop and list your asset as required

Unfortunately, like already said here in comments, there is a problem with the LOD model. From mid distance the wires are gone and from far distance all model became invisible.
Note that it's a issue with this one and the 35kV, the other two power lines from this set are working fine, better LOD with the 275kV.
Since there is no update since the release in 2018, I think it will never be fixed, but its a great asset tough.

great asset :D There is slight problem with the long distance LOD of this asset though. It's is not detailed enough and make it look like almost transparent, would it be possible to fix it please?

can you make a taller version but the top of the towers are also antenas

Hi, yes I have this one and is the only one that dissapier when zoon out, the other one with 400kw work fine.

Author, thank you for a beautiful model, but at medium distances the model just breaks down and is displayed incorrectly. This is not fixed with "Adaptive Prop Visibility Distance".

@Nocadeus Can you make a guide how deploy realistic these powerlines, for example 800kv exit from a hydroeletric dam and go to a transformation station and then use 400kv and so on?

@Novadeus so what is correct way how to use these different kV power lines? :) I noticed that these large ones are for example at nuclear power plant but where is the point when it switches from 800 to 400 in real life? Is it some substation or suddenly the 800kv splits into 2 and these 2 are already 400kv "only"?

You can not connect an 800 kV HVDC line to a 400kV three-phase line for information only. There are huge differences! In reality there would be a huge bang everything would be destroyed. You could in reality only 800kV individually as a route, e.g. between 2 cities. But would be completely nonsense, because HGÜ lines should be used only from very large distances because of the economy. Something like that is being moved between two countries.

@JCmon818 Search in the electricity or the parc category, there's already a few good radio towers on the workshop including a super tall like those you would see in the midwest where there isn't mountains or skyscrapers to park the antenas.

The wire should be vertex painted black.

Form wikipedia:

The wire shader doesn’t use any textures, and models using it will sway in the wind. The amount of sway can be set per vertex on the blue channel of the vertex color (0 for no sway, 255 for full), and the phase of the sway can be controlled with the red channel.

@Klan Narayan yeah, but clustered like that, the wires act as a single conductor. They do that because the diameter of the wire has an effect on it's electrical properties.
