I'm not 100 % sure whether the model there is the static or ferry version. The difference is that the ferry version is a bit smaller because full size model didn't function properly as a ferry. If the model is wrong, check Avanya's guide on retexturing models .
If you (or anyone else here) re-textures or modifies the model and uploads it, please let me know and mark me as a co-author.
Of the 989 people on board, 137 survived. Helicopters rescued 104 of them. Sinking of Estonia is the deadliest peacetime shipwreck in European waters.
I meant earlier that Silja Europa as cargo ship is doable, and I just released it: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1285953497 .
A totally new and different ship asset is also doable but at the moment I don't have the motivation nor the inspiration for it.
I think it could work if you just subscribe to this asset and use it as a template.
This could be maybe solved by just shortening the ship a bit, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Is there a vehicle version available as well? Can not find it anywhere :/
I will update the models shortly.
Well the strange thing is that no other assets display this purple color, they're all white.
Anyway if you could fix it it would be awesome! :)
Thank you again for this nice asset, planing on doing any other ships?
If the modding community or CO comes up with something that limits the bobbing I consider changing the shader :)
Btw. you could use the floating (prop) shader used on buoys in game so the ship will always be on the waters surface ;)
