Yea I figured it out. The episodes were broken for some reason and that's why it was missing textures and models. Thanks!

When you started it, did you start on that map, or changelevel to it? Due to Synergy's current mounting system, you will have to start from the main menu right to STTR_Ch1A_Set69 or it won't mount everything.
You could also try verifying the game cache for Synergy, HL2, Ep1, and Ep2 and see if that helps.

I installed as per instructions and I get a few missing textures and errors on the first map during the intro (haven't checked further).
