It looks good, but the bolt cycling animation doesn't play most of the time.

I've noticed two pretty big bugs with this mod;

- On the scoped mosin-nagant, performing an empty reload will load in a clip (5 bullets) and then load an additional 5 rounds afterwards, forcing the magazine to hold 10 rounds.

- Using the Iron-sighted mosin-nagant, performing a kick will cause the weapon to get stuck in an endless loop of the "bolt cycling" animation.

Bugs aside, I love using this gun more than any of the stock weapons - great fun! :D

@Kirk1944 ok, but it will just have a damage increase in general, I have not figured out how to change how much damage it does at a certain range. Also, for any future suggestions, pleese post them in the suggestions discussion.

@SST_Games, Perhaps many people asked you before but.. Could you please increase the lethality (one-shot into the chest at close-to-mid distance) of the rifles in this pack or at least provide us with a buffed separate pack? While knockout ability and projectile velocity are pretty awesome features of this rifle, its stopping power is still the major drawback if you compare it to other bolt-action rifles ( Almost all of them basicaly one-shot into the chest ). @doge lopez I will think aboout it. I already know about the ammo problem with the scoped mosin. and I didn't make the models (and don't claim to), I just found one that I was able to freely use for anything that also went well with the overall style of ravenfield.

I don't think it needs to be one shot kill like every single sniper on the workshop. The knockdown like the default sniper is good enough. You can if you want but I just think it would make it dull. Also for some reason the scoped variant loads 10 rounds if it is reloaded while empty. I do like the models a lot though.

@Sherlock M. I'm not quiting moding entirely, I'm only taking a break. And I am already going to give it more damage. I will consider your suggestions for the M1903 and the Lee Enfield, but I have seen a really good Kar 98k, so I will not be making that one.

Please raise the damage to one shot kill, I reaaly miss the old days. And..... if you could make more rifles like m1903 or 98k or lee that would be GREAT! Most rifles are bad, I only feel none of them is better than this. Please think about it. You could post a donation url or something, I guess.

@Salty boi I based the bullet speed off of its IRL muzzle velocity. I do this for all my guns so they will be a little balanced/semi-realistic. However, I could have the gun do more damage if you would like. At the moment, however, I have taken a break from modding and do not know when I will start again.

@Dat Boi it's supposed to load five individual rounds because both in-game and in real life the scope takes up the room needed to put a clip in. As for the too many bullets issue, I am already aware of this and I am already working on it.

I'm having an issue with the scoped mosi, when you reload after emptying a clip the reload animation keeps playing and I end up with 10 rounds instead of the normal 5.

I don't know if this issue's been addressed so if it is, my apologies. For some reason, when I go slow-mo when I shoot the Mosin, it doen't play the bolt action sequence. This is nowhere near a major problem, just a little thing I've taken noticed.

@Ryu I've had that problem as well, but I am not sure how to fix it. However, at least for me anyway, it doesn't happen that often, and so it is not as high up on my to-do list asa few other things, such as creating new weapons and making sure they don't have any bugs on release.

I'm having some issues with the wrong animations playing at random times. Like when jumping after fireing a shot the bolt animation will stop after playing for about a second and my character will load another 5 rounds in to the gun.

the tactical mosing can you add an actual reticle on the holo sight so people know where they are shooting besides the laser? i love the mod btw

@Pinenuts I didn't make the animation. I myself can't animate. The bolt could either not close completely and open far enough, or close completely and not open all the way. But don't let the problem ruin the gun for you

There is a glitch with the Mosin sniper where when I reload having shot all my bullets, it loads ten instead of five. Also if I go into slow motion and shoot the Mosin it wont always do the bolt animation.

@lee601hunter thanks, and I will work on fixing the red dot. But to fix the scope reticle, I would need a completely new 3D model due to the way the default scope works. And even with the 3-point scope on the model, moving it all down to line it up would cause the rifle to be fused inside of the hands. I also had similar situation to this with my dragunov, but that didn't even have a sight. So while I would like to change it, I currently am unable to

hi, mosin nagant wrong scope reticle. should be 3 post reticle. but i understand you took the current one from the game's sniper rifle, but please work on the 3 post reticle! the tactial mosin was kinda cool. but the red dot sighting doesnt show any red dot. so yea.


otherwise, best mosin mod ive seen so far
