I just watched the first video of this map, absolutely stunning damn near picture perfect replicas of these infamous locations. I cant wait to play and experience this for my self. Im new to this game so wish me luck!

This map was the best one in the game bar none especially the final cap zones in the building with the floor to floor fighting.
TW completely ruined it and missed what made this good in the first place.
Luckily I played the shit out of this on custom servers before it "died"

Hey mate, big fan of your work. This version was way better than TW's rendition, glad you still updating it. I'm trying to mod a selection of vanilla and custom maps for my hardcore realism server [G] Hardcore Absolution. Would you mind me try modding this piece?

I remember on this server, we were the USMC and we were getting pushed back hard, and the Huey Gunship landed in the back field behind the embassy, and picked up the commander and a squadron leader while the entire team was shooting at them for getting left behind. It was a fun game.

is this map functional currently? tried running it on my server and it skipped and went to hill937 (the default when maps dont load).

the VNTE-BlackApril_V3.roe and VNTE-BlackApril.ini appear to have mismatched names?

There is nothing better for a custom map then to become one with the game it was made for. That means it will be tweaked and worked on as needed.
Tho I can make and suggest changes to the map the final decision will rest on the AMG/TW

The last two objectives could definitely use some work. I've got no idea how you're supposed to take them as North Vietnam. It seems to be easier both defending and attacking as South Vietnam since you can spawn on squad leaders who can just sit in a corner on the objective rather than having to push up the stairs/spawn on tunnels outside.
