I don't see anything in the 3.3 patch notes that should require an update so yes.
LiptonDI 26 Dec, 2019 @ 3:57pm
Hi, is this mod up to date ?
water  [author] 8 Apr, 2019 @ 3:15pm
Okay, it should be good to go.
Chaincat 8 Apr, 2019 @ 1:13pm
Otherwise I'm pretty sure the option doesn't show up, I should say.
Chaincat 8 Apr, 2019 @ 1:12pm
no but the mnm artifact events file I think needs to be updated to account for the new option.
water  [author] 8 Apr, 2019 @ 12:33pm
I see in the files that the items have a minimum and maximum price (like how paradox fixed the smith related events). The prices seem very cheap from what I can tell. Did I miss one that doesn't have a price cap?
Chaincat 6 Apr, 2019 @ 12:04pm
This needs to be updated for Great Works, as it added a new option if you have a fortress with an armory
Drax70 28 Mar, 2019 @ 5:46am
Is this compatible with HIP?
Caio Soares 19 Nov, 2018 @ 7:32pm
Thanks, give my like to you!
water  [author] 19 Nov, 2018 @ 7:32pm
Yes, I updated it the day it came out.
Caio Soares 19 Nov, 2018 @ 7:22pm
Work with holy fury?
water  [author] 7 Nov, 2018 @ 10:01am
I'll be updating the mod next week for HF, so let me know if that doesn't solve your problem.
Jolly Boy John 7 Nov, 2018 @ 9:08am
I wouldn't think so, I'm using no mods that alter the artifacts.
I'm using:
Auto Build
Claim all Details Hire Titles
Fixed Smith prices
Friendly non aggression pacts
Gold for favours
Interface century gothic
Lost content
Plummusducis technology overhaul
Purchase claims
Satanism plus
Sensible Satan spawn
Sketchy cheat menu
Century gothic bold tooltip
Trade++
Trait softcap remover
Unique buildings
Your personal castle

Sorry if this is spam, maybe it'll help
water  [author] 7 Nov, 2018 @ 3:32am
I haven't changed anything, and none of the updates should have done anything. Do you have any other mods that might conflict?
Jolly Boy John 7 Nov, 2018 @ 2:01am
does the mod still work? i didn't get anything when employing a smith after the event chain. it said " will be added to [characters] inventory" and nothing happened
SplittinHeads 1 Jul, 2018 @ 2:55pm
Weapons/armor should be like 400/800/1600 just x2 the previous.
Jewelry 500/1000/2000
abel1717 27 Apr, 2018 @ 11:15am
Is there a way I can disable ai from getting these toys? Perhaps "Ai will do" kind of thing? Please advice. I love this mod, by the way.
WolfintheWheat 21 Apr, 2018 @ 12:36pm
The restriction of ~2,000 prestige in order to see the option for the tier 3 items is all the balance you really need; It keeps lowly chiefs from having the option of creating imperial scepters. Lol. (as if they'd have the gold anyway?)

Great mod. Love it just the way it is. :Khappy: All the friends I've played using this mod love it now too.
abel1717 20 Apr, 2018 @ 12:28pm
Great Mod: Don't change it.
Yes, the prices should not adjust to the income or class of the buyer. Prices reflect the good for sale not the one buying it. So keep it as is.
Tannico 16 Apr, 2018 @ 10:09am
As Hamburger in base your Money and Prestige you choose different resturant.
As King or Emperor came different Smith for the same object.
AS HAMBURGER, the price dosen't match to quality
water  [author] 16 Apr, 2018 @ 8:00am
The value of products does not change based on your situation. You can't go buy a Mercedes for less just because you can prove your income is low. Same reasoning I'm using here; it's the same item with the same effect. Why would it magically be cheaper to a duke than an emperor?
Tannico 16 Apr, 2018 @ 7:22am
Prices are balanced in gigant empire (in vanilla they can be over 10/20k so 2400 is perfect), but for small country they are unbalanced as fuck, in a little country price for a weapon/armor/jewels is 200/400/800, an idea is "set price" in base your titles:
High cost Require:Empire (400/800/2400)
Human Cost:Kingdom (200/400/800)
Low Cost:High Chief/duchies and lower (150/250/500)
starchitec 15 Apr, 2018 @ 10:05am
Exactly what Ive been looking for, thanks. If you wanted to add back in a lighter version of wealth scalling, Id suggest keeping your fixed prices and adding a negative demense tax modifier on top, say -25% for 2 years as a salary for the smith. Somewhat similar to how the search for an artifact event chain works. Depending on your income that can be a considerable sum, but since you dont see a tooltip with a ridiculous 10k ducat price, it doesnt feel nearly as wrong. Maybe even add a minor buff like +10% army moral for that duration so that it seems like employment of the smith is actually doing something too.
Le Frenchman 9 Apr, 2018 @ 2:59pm
Well, you gotta take into consideration the inflation of gold value.
.... I just recently sarted playing CK2, and I'm not yet to the point of being rich. Despite owning a good of Italy and Sicily, I'm poor as fuck. Taxes don't come in at good enough pace (maybe, once the recent places I've conquered get a good amount of soldiers, I'll conquer the rest and instead of giving them to vassals, I'll try to gain more gold through taxes... but my armies would have been much lowered by then...)

Yes, a lowered price for those upgrades will help.
gawky 18 Mar, 2018 @ 2:56pm
You can use variables like $cost, and then limit if average income > 25 ducats, you can use fixed prices, otherwise you can use scaled_wealth
water  [author] 18 Mar, 2018 @ 2:21pm
I know there's a minimum, but I believe I already tried implementing a maximum to no avail. Doesn't mean it's not ppossible of course.
pineloupe 18 Mar, 2018 @ 12:24pm
Could maxing scale_wealth be implemented to the entire game? Hell, I'd try to do it myself if I knew how.
Cactus Punch 5 Mar, 2018 @ 8:30am
Another use might be when writing books?
gawky 15 Feb, 2018 @ 6:25pm
Nah b, your prices are just right. I mean holy shit, 2400 for a tier 3 sword, better be sharp as hell.
water  [author] 15 Feb, 2018 @ 4:45pm
In my own game I have claims at a fixed price which wouldn't be too hard to implement here; I'm just concerned since said prices could vary wildly depending on your opinion.
Cactus Punch 15 Feb, 2018 @ 9:51am
This is perfect, could you prehaps look into some of the other scaled costs?
Ell 14 Feb, 2018 @ 9:06pm
I prefer it when the cost of your sword could fund the construction of a nuclear arsenal.
gawky 13 Feb, 2018 @ 12:03pm
It'd be a shame if you owned more than 2 provinces and had income of over 100 ducats :^)
It'd be a shame if your sword cost you 92600 :^)
It'd be a shame if you would have to go to the end of the world for extra 46300 :^)
Voryn Dagoth Ur 13 Feb, 2018 @ 9:48am
Who doesnt love needing a small loan of a million dollars for a sword, meanwhile i could have my army standing for years instead of buying a sword i could lose? btw thanks for dis mod
CidDaBird 12 Feb, 2018 @ 10:38pm
To whatever degree, this mod should be in the base game. The price of things shouldnt be over 10k
Holy Athena 12 Feb, 2018 @ 7:21pm
@coolcat

Playing Ironman with mods is for people like me who force themselves to not cheat. Sometimes when a really crappy situation happens, when you're not in Ironman the want to cheat yourself out of it can be pretty overwhelming. In Ironman for me at least, it helps leviate that since I know I can't anyway.

It helps me control my urges in really crappy situations.
Zeloraz 12 Feb, 2018 @ 2:24pm
thank you. being an emperor and buying a sword costing 30k is fucking dumb when the same sword would only be like 10k if your are a king.
bigCHEESE 12 Feb, 2018 @ 8:53am
Yes thats fine, and I commend this mod. I was simply saying that I won't personally be using it very much.
water  [author] 12 Feb, 2018 @ 8:03am
Maybe you want to be unable to cheat so you know you did things "legit?" Do what you wanna do, but I'm not going to let paradox tell me silly stuff like this is part of the intended experience.
bigCHEESE 12 Feb, 2018 @ 8:00am
Well whats the point of playing ironman if your save is not eligible for achievements? I don't consider a game legitimate if the tick for available achievements is on.
I mostly only use mods for when I play with friends on multiplayer.
water  [author] 12 Feb, 2018 @ 7:58am
You can play ironman with any mods you want; you just won't be able to get achievements.
bigCHEESE 12 Feb, 2018 @ 7:45am
Having paid 35k for a bow once, I'd really love to download this mod.
However, I only play in Ironman, so this mod wouldn't be compatible
Peterhobo1 12 Feb, 2018 @ 6:58am
@SoloMystery yes they are, but it is rediculous after a point. If you wanna make me pay more because I make a bit more that is fine, but it is rediculous to make me pay more 10 years income for a sword no matter what.
Ranzknecht 11 Feb, 2018 @ 10:26pm
Thank you. Very nice
subhuman connoisseur 11 Feb, 2018 @ 9:11pm
Thank you
SoloMystery 10 Feb, 2018 @ 5:54am
I believe the prices are based on the tier and based on the tier, a percentage of your money
💃I'VE GOT ALL THE BAT8💃 10 Feb, 2018 @ 2:36am
I dunno if the prices scale high that fast if you start as a kingdom or anything, but Ck is boring starting as kingdom anyways, try some duke and become emperror that's fun! ;);)
💃I'VE GOT ALL THE BAT8💃 10 Feb, 2018 @ 2:36am
tbh I never had that issue in vanilla, I think you should just buy the armor and stuff, when you have enough money like 600 and you're country is inna safe state, where you don't need savings for war or something? You know what I mean? :D My english iz not ze yellow from ze egg! :P
Penguin Minion 9 Feb, 2018 @ 6:18pm
Na merch republics are the hardest to gain smithed goods as they reach ludicris prices and poor cunts generally have raiding as a option for gold income which doesnt increase the cost.
Corrupted Desire 6 Feb, 2018 @ 6:18pm
@rkennerk Hell even ruler designer disables achievements and thats a paid dlc...
