I suggest Itza, "The Last Bastion" Temple-Guard that held at the Bridge of Stars against the first chaos invasion, buying lord Kroak time to finish his spell, they'd have the unbreakable-trait and also encourage, and "Guardian" in my head.

Having trouble with the cohort of the copper sun. I have the level 3 obsidion building and the golden tower of the gods, but the unit's tooltip says I cannot recruit them because I don't have an underground lagoon (even though I have several). Any ideas?

@Godzilla2021: I don't think removing the cap is a good idea, as these units were not made to be spammed, but to offer new tactical opportunities for lizardmen. You could easily increase / unlimit their cap yourself using PFM (it requires literally 1 small change per unit).

Does this still work? Because the radious mods got an update last week. When I try to use it the game crashes, I mean I use it with the radious mods. Because obviously the Lizardmen need som love as they get rarely any unit mods :D

nice! is the shield colour not changeable? the shield itself is still red, while some kind of gray, dark beige or brown would fit better with the worn out style in my opinion

New version with updated textures is online. Temple Guard of Xlanhuapec now have worn out armour and all red strings are now blue; also the red feather on the shield ;)

dont forget mixus legandary lords that adds 2 new legendary lords for the lizardmen and a legendary hero chakax, the eternity warden from xlanhuapec. imma start a new mazdamundi campaign only because of this mod and confederate any relevant lizard faction for the lords and your units. if i can find anything lore related for new regiments, imma let you know

Temple of Mists in Xlanhuapec. It is really nice with crynsos' faction unlocker where you can start as Xlanhuapec :D

@BOOGEYMANE: The unit cap for custom battles was actually intended but the colour of the feathers was not. I will probably change them when I update the mods for SFO and vanilla.

hell yeah you implemented them nicely! the only things i can critique right now is their red ropes, shields and feathers. if you can do that with the tools you got, then maybe change those colours to colder ones.blue, purple, grey and such. i also dont know if its intended or an accident but the promised 3 per unit cap doesnt apply in custom battle. otherwise very nice update. hope to see new stuff and reworked skins soon!

@BOOGEYMANE: I have just updated the mod and it now includes Temple Guard of Xlanhuapec. They have darker textures than other temple guard units and I adjusted the specular and gloss maps of their weapons and shields to make them look "worn out". Balance wise they are basically a blessed version of blessed temple guards :D
And I finally managed to make all units have blessed icons (orange) in the ui.

yeah mane take the normal temple guard, colour them colder with maybe white or purpleish feathers/details, give em a brighter blue as skin and ready to.im hyped af
