it caused the mod to remove itself again, but it works
I had the same error. But the solution from Kassenschlager (replacing the row in About.xml to: ""<packageId>delsin53752.hdhterrainhtexturehpack</packageId>"" works fine for me.

Attempt to use string packageid to refer to field packageId in type Verse.ModMetaData+ModMetaDataInternal; xml tags are now case-sensitive. XML: <ModMetaData><name>HD Terrain Texture Pack</name><author>Delsin53</author><supportedVersions><li>1.1</li></supportedVersions><packageid>Delsin53.HDTerrain</packageid><description>Changes most of the games terrain to HD realistic textures. The textures are much more detailed but *technically* lower-res than before so you should notice a substantial increase in your FPS; nearly doubling it especially with larger colonies.

updating it for nothing other than a tag showing 1.1 caused everyone using this mod to have it become unchecked... this is a royal pain in the ass for anyone using HUNDREDS of mods.
