Well, it is kind of trade off. Do you want a propeller that can take some hits or one that doesnt vibrate that much when got hit. Since it is the planes only source of thrust ( no hidden propellers or unlimited engine power ).

I think your lift problem is stemming from your propeller - it's so heavy compared to the rest of the plane that when one blade comes off the entire plane shakes extremely violently
