@Everybody This should still work without an update. It just removes AI cheats related to attrition resistance. These are universal attributes that apply to every faction that is AI controlled, so it should still work for later updates.

The only way this would need an update is if CA changed AI attrition syntax and mechanics themselves at the base-game level.

When I turned it off, the game is fast again.

My launcher is bugged, so I can't update my stuff... but this mod still works as intended. Unless CA adds another corruption mechanic, this mod will not need any major changes

@Titfortat About the Skaven corruption, it's pretty much focused on forced rebellions, that's why the southern badlands seems to be untouched in a way (the AI is not smart enough to actually force rebellions, like purposely use a stationary hero to corrupt a province). And I noticed something unusual in my Eltharion campaign (vortex): Sartosa conquered galbaraz and abandoned it. I noticed the unhappiness there, so my mod was working. But after several turns, I observed that the unrest stopped at -99, lol so the rebellion never actually happened, maybe this is another random AI cheat. I intend to give a very small penalty for public order to see if it changes this weird -99 thing, maybe the resistance to occupation is to blame, idk. But I will do that later... the AI in this game is all over the place smh

I will test it in my next campaign.
For now, I play an Azhag campaign (Turn 94) and vanilla corruption is somehow okay. Vlad survived a long time and Manny actually conquered big parts of the empire. Still a bummer, that my troops suffer more from it than the empire, but ok. In the south things are going... south. Grimgor and I kicked the dwarves out, but now he is fighting Eshin and Mors. Not much with corruption attrition there and it's a stalemate.
I only played one other campaign since the DLC dropped: Eltharion in Vortex. I also think the mist of Yvresse is fine. Only other corruption I noticed was Noctilus and Morathi in Ulthuan (that was underwhelming) and Cylostra and Harkon (kept the Lizard in stalemate and Wulfhart even conquered big chunks). End turn was ~130.

I'm excited for a new Isabella campaign after I finished Azhag ;)

Well, I tried out the new corruption system of Yvresse and it felt powerful enough imo, so I didn't changed it. However, many players are claiming the order races are even stronger than usual, so maybe I can slighgtly raise the attrition damage of chaos and vampires (also the effectivenes of skaven plagues), see if that can help to balance things. It's possible to also tweak the resistance to ocupation... But I will mess around with that later, see if the game really needs more insurgences. For now, the mod remains pretty much the same, all kinds of attrition (saved by sea, because the AI is too stupid) are set to zero (so no cheats). Feedback is appreciated.

@Dillinius: I've been using this mod since it was updated for Shadow and Blade and I didn't have any problems with too many AI rebellions. AI armies just suffer attrition and if I invest some time and heroes in spreading corruption, it helps igniting rebellions, but no more than is reasonable. It's basically how I imagine vanilla corruption should work.

I will update this mod as soon as I can =) (in theory it should always work, but I will update the tables anyway).

@Dillinius Yep, I removed their bonuses almost completely. Honestly, I've only seem rebellions in my campaigns only in very corrupted areas, like for example, when Bretonnia tries to expand on Norsca (yes, the vanilla AI is really dumb). But other than that, it doesn't make that much of a difference for the AI. Now for the human player it makes more of a difference, which is the original intent of the mod.

i've noticed from other mods that if you completely get rid of public order bonuses for the ai, they tend to have mass rebellions around their empires all the time because they dont know how to garrison strategically. do you know if this mods suffers from the same thing?

@Gleen Cross Well, I don't know if you can upload via KMM, I just suggested seeing if there is a way to do so. I'm not sure it that can be done, but was just a suggestion to check out :P. Hope the launcher troubleshooting steps work for you bro!

Kaedrin's mod manager now upload mods? That's interesting to hear, I will try that later. There are so many tweaks to do and the official launcher sucks, it is honestly disheartening sometimes, lol My other mod about how the elves interacts with the sea elements needs to be rebuild from scratch... But I will try it later, see if it works this time.

1) Clear your download cache in Steam (closes and logs you out when it's done), then go to where the launcher folder is for WH2 and delete the entire thing.
2) Reopen Steam and log back in. Go to WH2 and launch the game. It will reinstall the launcher and all of it's dependencies. This also resolves issues with the mod manager not working at all, or with it not properly detecting and managing mod files in the data directory.
3) Do a verification of integrity of game files and try again.

It should work after that but if it still doesn't, you may have to see if there's a way to upload via Kaedrin's Mod Manager. It works way better than CA's does lmao XD

Yep, all my mods still works. But when I try to update them, steam doesn't allow it.. maybe it's a bug, idk. But you people just have to enable outdated mods and that's it. Only my skaven and dragon mods are outdated following the new values, but there's nothing I can do lol Only if I delete and upload them again.
