You're looking at the wrong version
theligit27 25 Apr, 2024 @ 3:08am
When 1.5?
Slye_Fox 15 Sep, 2018 @ 7:08am
This & the Mince meat mod have the error for me (I'm still on B18).
They both say no ingredients are avalable, despite me haveing thousends of vegies & meat.
I've trie the mod being at botht he end & begining (after core) of the mod list with no luck.

Yes, but they will give an unhappy thought, like all other raw vegetables.
无关风月 27 Jun, 2018 @ 7:44pm
Veggie Mix Can Eat?
Eat them raw like strawberries?
Daniel_USA 24 Jun, 2018 @ 7:09pm
in your description xml just change the version number.
someonesneaky  [author] 24 Jun, 2018 @ 6:07pm
I know -- Tynan changed something with how the food defs work, and I'm trying to get help on fixing it. Thank you though!
Daniel_USA 24 Jun, 2018 @ 5:25pm
u need to update your xml version. it shows as red when u look at it in the mod menu ingame.

Thanks, I love the mod! Great Work!
One little detail: both mix 5 and mix 20 veggies have the same amount of work needed (5 work amount) which is a little bit odd. More veggies to chop would mean more work to do. Maybe set the work amount for the 20 veggies to 15 or 20? Just a suggestion.
someonesneaky  [author] 4 May, 2018 @ 3:30pm
It was either a butcher table -- already set up for chopping things -- or the stove, which is used for cooking. Of the two, I figured butcher table would be the best one. Making a new workbench just for chopping veggies would just be silly.

Just... pretend your chef sanitizes their work surfaces before switching tasks. Yeah.
Alchemy Saga 30 Apr, 2018 @ 3:50pm
it seems strange that the veggie blend is made at a butcher table- have the pawns never heard of food safety? I shall consider this mod next time i start a colony, even so.
someonesneaky  [author] 19 Apr, 2018 @ 1:49am
Oh dear, I don't know if I've checked the value. I'll have to take a look at that next time I'm in game!
ShadyBhaz 18 Apr, 2018 @ 11:23pm
Much thanks!
WabbaCat 18 Apr, 2018 @ 4:44am
I take back my earlier comment. Veggie Blend has increased value, making the time investment even out.

Personally I recommend lowering that value tho. LOL
someonesneaky  [author] 18 Apr, 2018 @ 4:25am
It's not at the stove, it's at the butcher table!
ShadyBhaz 17 Apr, 2018 @ 8:23pm
Can't seem to find the recipe for Veggie Blend in my electric stove. What am I missing?
WabbaCat 9 Apr, 2018 @ 2:44am
I kind of agree with you someonesneaky, but I kind of agree with what haynes wants also...
I mean, you are
1.) putting pawn time into this for only a minor increase in space
2.) mixing vegies, which I imagine should at least be somewhat healthier than eating all of one thing- if only slightly

either way, it probally doesnt matter much... I think its a neat mod
ButtJunkie 8 Mar, 2018 @ 6:08pm
Very handy! Agreed, no need to change the stats, the efficient space usage is enough value.
someonesneaky  [author] 17 Feb, 2018 @ 9:57pm
It's not meant to be more nutritious -- it's the same items, smushed together. Its only purpose is to save on stockpile space.
Whetstone Willy 16 Feb, 2018 @ 5:58pm
I'll definately subsrcribe if the nutritional value is raised when turned into veggie mix.
someonesneaky  [author] 15 Feb, 2018 @ 3:11pm
Bahaha xD I doubt it will -- if I did it right, it'll only accept things that are defined as edible vegetables, and in vanilla, smokeleaf isn't edible.
SirVivel 14 Feb, 2018 @ 12:35am
Let's see if this mix can also handle smoke leaf... if yes, my colonists will be the happiest people on the planet! *spaced out* :steamhappy:
someonesneaky  [author] 12 Feb, 2018 @ 1:12am
Thank you very much, Cap'n and Spoony! :D

It's most likely a Vegetable Garden thing, though -- in vanilla, 'edible fungus' is a plant product (though I actually had to load the game and double-check to make sure I hadn't made a silly error xD )
Lurmey 11 Feb, 2018 @ 4:55pm
You know you've made a good mod when the only critique I can find is the fact that the mushrooms in the image don't belong there as they class as a meat for some reason, not a vegetable. Unless that's a vegetable garden thing in which case I'm both an idiot and sorry. xD
witchyspoon 10 Feb, 2018 @ 4:26am
great mod. only problem would be when using with other mods that need specific veggies for their recipies. (bc then you have to micromanage not using those)
but otherwise really neat!
someonesneaky  [author] 9 Feb, 2018 @ 7:51pm
@danlovejoy - you're welcome!

@maajk - I haven't seen that error on my side, nor has anyone else mentioned it, so it's *possible* it's a conflict with a mod on your end. I've thrown it at the more experienced modders in the discord chat, so we'll see if someone can help figure out what's going on, but I don't think that'll be enough info to go by.
