i gave up after a few minutes of failing due to bugs. i dunno why but hat kid kept pausing in midair nearly with every jump just not recognizing my inputs

The main area is really good! I love the aesthetics and gameplay. However, the hidden area... Oh, boy. I can't even get past the first series of jumps because one of the bouncy platforms seems to be too far into the foreground to land on (?) and I can't seem to get enough height on the balloons to start making my way up. The owls are a non-issue, they're just annoying (you can't just respawn...you gotta get hit into a pit once or twice immediately).

Checkpoints are kinda janky (I sometimes get sent an entire screen back), but otherwise a great level. Fun in online too.

Very cool level, I love the aesthetic.

A few nitpicks related to checkpoints: Several of the checkpoints in the first dweller-mask section are on top of ground that's not solid when the mask is on (so you respawn and immediately fall), and the first checpoint in the bouncy-cube portion would spwn me to a black screen which would correct itself after walking a few steps right (I think the camera was focused on the wrong thing).

Good 2D but since it's more of a 2.5D we brush against the walls and it makes things quite difficult. Especially the wall-jumping on phasing, that was a nightmare.
Just getting the Time Piece at the end I had to jump on it 5 times ><

I really like the style of this mod. the only stuff annoys me are
- sometimes hat kid just doesn't hang on ledges/platforms
- hat kid keeps clipping on some platforms and fall
- after falling down (and supposed to die), I spawn at the top and endlessly fall again.

Beautiful level, and challenging design. Not sure if it was me or my controls, but in some sections of the level hat kid would slow her movements so easy jumps would be missed. Other than the small bug/control issue, Amazing level.

@Denchick try removing some of your mods you may have. having one too many can cause a problem for loading other mods, espicially costumes

@Kaiiru The thing you found with the 3 platforms is one way to ge to the 2nd TP, for the other way, try moving around when you are at the end as well. There are no walls to restict you in a few directions. Good luck! [/spoiler[

I can not find the second time piece for the life of me. I found the one on the "beach" and that's it. I've even used the SM Sunshine Nozzle mod to poke around and found this weird area right above the beginning with like 3 platforms, 1 being invisible, and a sphere which I assume is for textures or some junk. "Sprint double jump back to the past" what does that even mean? There's an invisible wall if you go backwards not counting the place I found by "cheating"

I liked this a lot, but getting onto the very first balloon on the last level before the Hourglass is way too inconsistent.

So yeah, main issue is those dropping platforms right in the beginning. Waaay too tough to get on. the third one is too high, and I was only able to get up there with the Cappy Cap mod. Everything else is amazing though!

Pretty cool concept,some jumps were weird and very hard and the balloons at the end were a bit bugged but i had fun overall,you had some neat level design idea in there that i'm surprised the devs didn't use in the main game (like the ghost platforms one on top of the other)

First of all, fun level. I enjoyed the playforming and the aesthetic was really nice, reminded me of the silhouette levels in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Just to make sure, there's only two time pieces in the level, right? The normal and the secret? Or is there a third?

The camera tends to shake which can lead to unpredictiable and inpricise movement. Looks greats with it's aethestics but it's the camera which ruins the entire experience.

So apparently, after some testing i've determined that the Camera Assist option in your Game Settings menu is what causes some sort of weird bug with the invisble walls, i will be uploading a patch to remedy some of the problems with the map namely the walls being too wide soon

If the character is not stuck on a left or right path, balloons just do not work. In this level, Hat Kid is still allowed to move forward and back a little, so you can miss the balloons if you happen to be a little closer to either invisible wall that's keeping her on the 2D path. She can also totally lose forward momentum if you're jumping foward and happen to hit one of these invisible walls. It makes traversing the level very frustrating.

Interesting concept. I enjoyed the level for the most part. The dweller parts were cool I think. The only part that frustrated me the most were the balloons. Either make it so she can ONLY travel left and right, or make the balloons' hitboxes bigger, or get rid of them altogether. With the way it is currently, it's just a guessing game... ><

I also forgot to mention I did enjoy my time with section 2 as it felt the most functional to me (Hat Kid's "invisible wall" issues rarely popped up here). It also had some of the most creative use I've seen of the Dweller Mask in any level, but I almost feel it's usage is better suited elsewhere.

I say this mostly because the minimal detail design that was chosen makes it occasionally difficult to properly tell if your Dweller Mask will interact with the enviornment or stay as-is. The best example I can think of is during the first "fox mask" hint in the background that was near a platform I was standing on and a wall in front of me. I figured the wall in front of me was made out of Dweller material and should use it to get past, and was quite surprised when the exact opposite happened.

Sorry to say, but I kind of agree with everybody else's statements here. You should be applauded for the aesthetic as I adore the silhouette usage (the levels in this style were some of my favorites in Retro's DKC titles), and the idea of a pure 2D level is a refreshing change of pace, but everything else falls apart.

Hat Kid is a nightmare to control on her own in this map due to this weird invisible "wall" constantly pushing her. If I have to put a lot of effort into a single jump, that's not a good thing. The fans in the background of the first section misled me and thought there was some sort of "gust" gimmick I simply wasn't getting.

Walls are also super glitchy and uring the first section I had two scenarios where I was clearly touching the next wall but Hat Kid wouldn't "run up" them. I had to ghost past this part, then promptly gave up when I saw the balloons. They're just simply not fun as it's far too "precise" to figure out where they are.

When I played this map it was beyond buggy. Moving at all made the game stutter constantly. I'd jump and freeze horizontally at random. Also, I fell down after the tent-thingy and when I returned to it, it built a wall in the middle of it and I couldn't continue the level.

Cool concept, maybe refine?
