Hi, Glad I found this, just completed this excellent mission, was a bit dubious about save game file size with all the mods required but need not have worried. Brilliant story line, the intel documents take a bit of finding at the sites but the clues are quite easy to follow, some scenarios i've played recently are impossible to complete due to lack of good instructions.

Bit of a problem. Armaholic seems to have disappeared; replaced by some kind of indonesian on-line gambling site. Don't know if this is a permanent hijack or not

I'm not sure how to find those files. Plus how to install them if they don't appear on Steam.

I think I found them on Steam, but they have different names ... identified as "used to be".

Dator what you can try this:

1. DO NOT restart the mission. If you already did, don't bother to go through with this...
2. find the folder where your save files at
3. copy the mission save files somewhere
4. NOW restart the mission (this will EMPTY the original mission save-file folder)
5. copy the backed-up save files back into the mission save-file folder
6. you SHOULD now be able to try and load your old saves. Please note that some of the save files might be corrupt... which might've caused all this in the first plase? So you might have to try a few of them before you find a working one... in which case you might wanna keep those backed-up save-files somewhere safe until you get the mission up and running again

This little thingy helps when you loose your save files because they're corrupt, this WILL NOT HELP if you loose your saves because the game or some mod got updated or stuff like that.

DATOR I dont speak russian, and google translate is giving some weird, weird things... But you like this, it seems? This was my firstborn, I was basicly just learning scripting and mission making...

Babyboy I just opened this up in editor, re-upped to workshop to fix issues about mods being updated, then tried to play and it worked fine... of course in ArmA anything is possible, but it should work, just be sure to have ALL the mods on the list!

UPDATED to version 1.1

- More random AI enemies roaming around (doubled)
- A few more custom locations now have a vehicle (either broken or out of fuel)
- Added a few road checkpoints... with vehicles
- Some custom locations now have tools or fuel
- Handplaced enemies now have way less ammo
- Reduced ammo from all crates across the map
- All handplaced enemies now carry cash
- A bit more likely now to run into a wandering trader
- Changed time acceleration to 4x
- Tweaked the loot settings (a bit less survival items)
- Tweaked handplaced AI enemy behaviour/placement

Any hint as to where a vehicle can be found? I've been walking waaaay too much and the intel from all four main camps hasn't helped :c

Happy to have lots of things to do and places to go, so don't spare the intel in the next one. I don't mind lots of running if it's not just run 6 miles and look in a box. If there are places to go and things to do along the way then I'll go anywhere. I'm keen to play a decent zombie scanerio on Redux. Several have tried, but none of them have been any good so far. More feedback for this one is there could still have been plenty more runners, and there was pretty much no loot in the normal loot pies, cars etc. I must have looted a thousand times or more in this and found little of interest. The only real loot came from enemy AI. I'll follow your page and keep an eye out.

ROBAX thanks for feedback, I really appreciate... Yea this is a Class A walking simulator, yes, but with a car you are all geared up pretty fast, no fun in that I thinks. No cars forces you to make decisions on what to carry, what to leave. And thanks for helping out ArmyRanger. I'll be posting a new mission one of these days, in ChernoRedux this time, and maybe with a bit less running around... a shorter mission.

All done! Good mission. I particularly liked the use of intel and hints instead of triggered tasks to keep me going. I've always thought that missions should just sort of indicate where to go and not put a big orange dot in front of me, so that worked well. It was also good to not have fancy gear for most of the game, but once I got the car I was basically totally geared and had everything. Never needed any of the gear at the locations. I know it's hard to make a scenario that lets the player build up slowly. The amount of walking was almost too much, but I'm a die-hard for this kind of thing so I kept going. Giving the player more stamina would help a lot. The only other issue was the save games got quite large towards the end and things started to get very laggy. Otherwise great fun, and going onto my workshop collection of zombie missions.

Ten days in and I'm nearly done. Just need a clue: I've got the intel from Bromos about the hidden boat. I've looked extensively around that area and cant find a boat, other than the ones nearby that dont work or are sunk. Can I get a clue for finding this? Just something that doesn't completely give it away. For all I know it could be on the other side of the map.

probably... I did a LOT of object placement, and if any of those were objects that came with the JETS, the mission might not start... but then again, I'm not sure if I used any that came with it, and even if I did, the game might give an error but still let you play. If so, game on, you'll be missing some objects but it wont really matter.

Excellent, thanks for that. I'm happy to deal with the runners. I always use Enhanced Movement when playing, so it's possible to plan a route and get on a roof if necessary.

I put some more zeds in to this, with some bolters. Some. I thought I better be careful with them zombies as theres hardly any cars to mow them down. But you can always open this in editor and add some more!

Are you sure you don't want to do a version with more zombies including runners? I promise I won't complain about it being hard.
