I haven't done any gravity testing with this ship at all.
It *might* be possible to land it on a moon but it wasn't exactly designed with that in mind... the thrusters may not be powerful enough to slow the ship down in time.
I'll do some tests.
In the meantime you could just try it & see. Use a Creative world so you can paste the ship back in if it crashes.
Let me know your findings if you try it.

Well you could easily swap out the merge blocks for armour if you wanted... or do you mean as in blend all 4 ships together & make them look like they were designed as one ship?

Instead of three detachable ships, I'm thinking of a military dreadnought that has the three permantly attached with armor blocks.

Sounds like you're talking about a whole new ship with a detachable module - like a mothership & drop-ship kind of arrangement. (?)

Please, explain your idea in detail. The better you describe it the easier it'll be for me to picture it in my head.

@Alos... you can create them easily yourself using the ships in my workshop. The idea is that all my EMGC ships can be merged together in various ways to form all kinds of strange new mega-ships. There are quite literally thousands of possible combinations you can make with these ships - The screenshots are just one simple example to show how the concept works.

For your reference though, the 3 ships in screenshot 8 are...
-This one (the K-10)
-The K-8 Advanced Military Escort (the smaller one on the front)
-The K-9 Advanced Military Minelayer (The two larger ships on the sides)

Screenshot 9 is exactly the same 3 ships - just there are twice as many of them in the combo. 2 K-10's docked stern-to-stern, each with a K-8 docked to its bow and 2 K-9's docked to its sides. The only difference is that the 4 K-9's are docked the opposite way around

The only limits to how many you can combine are the game engine & your hardware!
I have quite a few compatible ships I'll be publishing in the future - and of course, you're encouraged to build your own compatible designs too.
Looking forward to seeing what people come up with!
