Hi, sorry to say but this no longer works for me. Skin colour and race screw up fairly regularly and some parts straight up don't get used. I've tried a reinstall, game cache verify, delete and re-download, everything I can think of. Any suggestions?

I love to make and customize characters, and your pool is awesome!

I'm playing with it enabled, and as expected, I'm customizing the ones I like the most to better fit my playstyle, integration with my own characters, my aesthetic choices, my own lore/bio changes, etc. I'm thinking about eventually uploading my Character Pool to the workshop, but since it will contain many characters that are customized versions of yours, I came to ask for your permission to do this (or not - then I'll have to filter which ones you created so I'd only upload the ones that are 100% my own ).

So, what do you say?

Is this compatible with more backstories mod? Cause I only have my characters in the character pool.

This is no BS the greatest Character pool for XCOM2.
So much depth and detail in every character. This is literally the only CP where i just imported the whole thing because it's just, incredible. almost 2 years after the fact, Bravo.

I always wondered when it comes to character packs like this, what happens when they change armor? Do their clothes get randomized like normal characters, or do they have a set outfit already selected so they keep their good looks over into the next armor sets?

Liking the pool, but it seems there's a tendency to put females in the medic/tech roles.

I wish there was more diversity in the pool with a lot more females in the other classes.

I don't have it installed right now either, so I can't check. I recall that I did have everything from the modlist installed and ocassionally a character would have a missing piece. Its an amazing character pool by the way. Really well done.

@Mana: That particular arm relies on a mod from the mod list, perhaps it is missing? I don't have the game installed right now to test it I'm afraid.

I must commend you on how creative yet lore-friendly and plausible each character bio is. You're a talented writer and this character pool is a must.

I've noticed that "The Professor" is showing up with her left arm invisible.

Thanks James! I had a few ideas down for new characters, but right now I'm playing other games. I might come back and expand it in the future, especially if the rumours of a new expansion turn out to be true.

Love the pool, I use it all the time. Will it be expanded or another one created? Or will this be it?

I spend way more time customizing characters looks than I do actually killing alians. I love this pool, I still change some things on most of them but the characters are very well done.

Alright, also, I'd like to say I enjoy pretty much every one of these characters, some are pretty funny.
Ironically I think some of the SPARKs have more character than the human soldiers.

On first inspection, it seems this mod works in vanilla, the resistance factions seem to just be removed from the ability to import.

I have to say that this has some of the most inspired character designs and backgrounds I've seen in a character pack for this game. Huge kudos, I wish I could pull off half of the effort that obviously went into this!
