@The Harbinger As far as I know none of those three mods should cause this issue...

I'm really not sure what mod would cause the issues you're seeing at this point. I'm pretty sure that this is an issue of the capturable.lua file being overwritten, because I see that both the main mod and the patch are loading in properly (and in the correct order), but I don't know what mod would alter it.

Keep an eye out for any other mods that might mess with capture mechanics, I guess, and let me know if you're able to find a culprit.

Here's a new log, complete with the game shutting down (last time I was still in game, oops). I spent about a minute before shutting it down trying to capture a completely newly spawned tentacleghost without damaging it

Had to spawn in a weapon that did next to no damage in order to catch it with no armour (the tentacleghost only has 5 health or so) but was able to catch it (called a Tentacle Hunter when caught) (using /spawnmonster tentacleghost). I have to get most monsters down to 3 bars of health before I can capture them

The only things I can think of that may be causing a conflict are FU and https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1627427082 and potentially RPG growth - it has a Tamer profession, where you can craft a station which lets you make Capture Pods and advanced versions which just seek out monsters

@The Harbinger First off, try capturing something that could only be captured with the use of the main mod; you could, say, spawn a tentacleghost with commands and try capturing it. Even if it needs to have its health lowered first (from what I see here, if you use Any Capture Reloaded without this patch working you'd need to lower it below 50% health), I just want to see if the main mod is working on your end at all. Due to how this patch is written, if the main mod isn't loading in properly/isn't working in some way, this patch won't work either.

It's been working fine on my end, and the whole load list priority thing shouldn't be an issue seeing as how this patch is designated to load right after the main mod. Are you using any other capture-related mods that could cause a conflict?

Pretty sure this patch is broken - that, or it's a mod conflict. I CAN capture stuff, but only when I lower their health (so the whole "dying on capture" thing isn't happening to me).
I don't know about "ANY" capture, I just know that the "any HP" part isn't working.

I've unsubscribed and then resubscribed to see if that will do anything, but that hasn't worked (so I assume it should be "at the bottom of my load list" now?).
It used to work perfectly before the bounty hunting update, so idk. If it works for others, it must be something on my end.

A quick scan from my log file shows nothing error-related related to this mod, which is a little confusing; but tbf I don't know what I'm looking for. I just look for stuff like "error" and whatnot

And yes, this is on a new character, in a new universe I made when I came back to Starbound after the 1.4 update

Anyone who's been having issues with the main mod as of now due to the update should find that things are working once more. This mod shouldn't need an update so long as the main mod updates properly. I'll have the Pandora's Box patch updated shortly.

I'll try and have an update up within two weeks or so once I acquaint myself with what's been changed. I've been away from Starbound for quite a bit.

@yay2.0 Are you saying that the monsters can't be captured even when they're at full health? To be clear, it shouldn't restore all their health upon capture, but should allow them to be captured even if they haven't taken any damage.

hey theres an issue the mobs aren't being captured at full anymore (all monsters are still capturable though)

@Augusonic I haven't looked into it, but chances are the two should work fine together. If there are any monsters added in that mod which are not already capturable, this might make them capturable, but I don't know for sure.

@Auster So first off, if you are trying to use this without Any Capture Reloaded, this won't work, since it's a patch. Additionally, on the main Any Capture Reloaded page (I ask that you please keep queries about the main mod to that page, and only ask about this patch on this page), I detail what can/cannot be captured, and it is known that NPCs are not capturable as the mod stands right now. I probably won't be making them capturable.

I might have forgotten to note this on the page for the main mod, however, so I'll note that there from now on. Also, please look at the "Known Capture Issues" discussion thread on the main mod page for info on other non-functioning captures.

Doesn't work with NPCs. I tried with a Fenerox, even poisoning her in times from time, but it didn't work anyways.

@Surypムp ͡☭ If by that you mean that this is an existing mod, there are other mods that perform this same function, but they are not compatible with Any Capture Reloaded. I made this mod specifically to function with ACR, and as such this patch will not work without the main mod. Or am I misunderstanding what you're saying?
