I eventually managed to get in the funnel, but I died several times by sloping off that.

I don't know how you guys did it but whenever I try to fling myself and bounce off the plate on the conveyor, I always end up banging my head on something and being launched downwards, not reaching the funnel.

Wow! That was brutally clever. I think I broke something...might have been my ego. Part 2 was fantastic (I loved the turrets plummeting in flames to their deaths) but this was a brain twister. Many many thanks.

Thanks so much!. I figured out what to do in the conveyor area, and was about ready to noclip to the exit, because I am not very fast and map creators rarely give enough time for folks like me to get all the steps done before the timer runs out. Nevertheless, I decided I would give it one try...and made it -- I don't know how much time I had to spare, but if I can make it, then you must have allowed a fair amount ( and that was before I saw the play-throughs where the timer can be reset ) Thanks so much for making the puzzle logic-based and not overly execution-based, so even folks like me can join in the fun.

Well designed map set. I had one glitch, though: In the room where you block the laser with the cube , I just died at the disabled fizzler for some reason. It worked on second try, though.

That's actually the same acid as in the PTI Editor. I just tweaked the texture scaling and blocked the light from hitting it. Too much light on it makes it look like fluorescent beer. That's a good reason to jump in. Mmmm, beer. And donuts.

You should put more safety rail and lengthen the override, it has an ugly reminder of '90 FPS as I kept running off platform or not getting on in time.

After that timing glitch was discovered, I thought "ah crap". LOL. Usually I spend a bit of time trying my best to break everything before publishing. But I'm guessing that button just needs a reset time matching the cyclic length. Thanks for playing.

Again, excellent puzzles and environment construction. A little bit more tinkering to get the background music placed and these will start feeling like production quality maps. As noted previously, the conveyer gets glitched if I press the button before it has timed out. A little work on the logic should do it. (Maybe disable the onpress logic until the timer has completed or something...) Also, the timing was just about right: not excrutiatingly precise and not so long it was no challenge either. Good work again!

I didn't think that would happen. I guess the player's collision boundary gets stuck between the catwalk and the panel and the conveyor. This is good to know for future reference.

I guess it was a decision "either Wheatley voice lines or music" for why there's no background music. I suppose I could have added music at and ambient volume that doesn't interfere with the voice lines. Thanks for playing.

I solved it fine the first time. I did not find the timer off-putting, since it lasts a long time. I found Part 3 to be the shortest part yet. Other than that and the lack of music, it's great.

The first part was just too difficult to figure out. Timers really turn me off. moved on to the next one.

I was in the same situation EdMeister was in. Funnel didn't catch me either and i fell to death. After a few restart, it worked. Nice tests as always.

Had an odd situation the first time through. After stopping the conveyor and firing the gel, I then flung myself into the portal above the conveyor as I should have. But the funnel didn't catch me, and I landed on top of the lift! Other than that it was great, and my second time through it worked perfectly!

I try to stay away from quick shot placement and timed events. But when I do I try to leave ample amount of time to look, plan, aim, shoot, eat cake, check your email, etc. Thanks for playing.

I've been enjoying the series a lot; the puzzles are very challenging!

But!

(You knew that was coming, right? :)

In this section, I started to get frustrated because the solution to the conveyor belt involved being quick and precise with portal placement, and I'm more of a plodding, you-won't-stop-me-you-jerk kind of player.

Still, gave it a thumbs-up because it's clear you put a LOT of thought and work into these chambers and I want you to know I'm having fun anyway. ;)

I'm not really sure why the conveyor stopped indefinitely. It's a bit complicated, but it might have something to do with how I got the conveyor to stop at an 'exact' point instead of just anywhere. There's several conveyor sections and I could make it bulletproof if it was to stop at 'any' section. But only 2 conveyor sections have those paintable slabs which means I have to rig it up for just those 2. That's basically how it works. In the future, I'll have paintable conveyor sections, but the lighting is tricky. Thanks for the video.

@Skyferret Thanks for another great test chamber! You might want to look into the conveyor belt mechanism - I think there's a bug in the button's script (no idea how Hammer works, btw) because pushing it twice makes the conveyor belt stop indefinitely. Also, that pesky little cube didn't want to stay put on the bridge the first time - they tricksed us, precious xD (my fault here for not being careful enough)

I see. And I was going to ask the other player if crouching did this. Then don't crouch. Unless you're ducking from turrets, sniffing flowers, feeding the cat or peeking through the key hole.

Not sure why that happened. It looks like you've blocked the panels on the conveyor but that shouldn't happen. I guess if I do this again in future, I'll put player_clip sections above everything.
