Looks nice! Just way too detailed to fit into the game unless... You made all the other items look like that. Just a idea but. If you got the time go for it! You'd do great with those skills!

I actually like it a lot. Yes, the shading is different, but I consider the item to be particularly special and noteworthy and this seems to emphasize it. Definitely a big faf. =)

@falmunction - not exactly sure what I was going for. I mainly wanted to make the flame look more flame-y, but then I got carried away. I'll leave it as it is, the original version is still included in the download.

I actually like it a little less now. The "flat" shading of Rebirth just doesn't mesh well with this kind of rework. I would rather have the heart still be two or three colours. But this may not be what you're going for, so feel free to ignore my criticism. ;)

@falmunction - okay, how's it now? I played around with it some more to make it look like the heart itself is being lit by the flame. I've updated the preview image, but the other images are still the same.

I like the golden cross and flame. But the shading seems a little out of place.

i'd love to see more items in this super detailed style, it's like a middle ground between stock sprites and that one mod that has vector sprites
