I would like to, but it simply doesn't work well anymore. The GMod updates over the past couple years have really screwed up particle effects and a lot of people preferred to use their own particles. The needs of the many, my friend.

where decals/Blood1_model is vmt file with VertexLitGeneric shader
this way you can have LightmappedGeneric on walls and VertexLitGeneric on models

Dismemberment mod and Blood Gore Overhaul actually both come pretty close with their own style of dripping mechanics, maybe not as uber dynamic as Overgrowth's but I like the Soldier of Fortune/Postal style dismemberment more anyways.
