please update this good sir, I am dying having to manually console command like 5 traits out and 5 traits in over 10 different leaders.

It doesn't work with the current patch. I made this with my own personal balance mod, couldn't finish it because PDX kept re-balancing leaders. With the Astral Plane DLC, there are more leader changes incoming, I'm holding off until then.

Believe me, I've been very frustrated with the RNGs myself, had to use console commands way too much than I care for :c

It's absolutely terrible to be inundated with negative traits and not being able to do anything about it.

I will need some time to figure out the new system and what needs to be changed. Probably add some techs to increase leader caps if possible :D

Yeah so very much need this with the new update, starting traits you can pick are limited, and frank not usefully. With this mod I always pick at the very lease expansionist on my ruler, and normally deep connection since I normally play in empty galaxy or with only a few AIs. Not getting ether of those as a option with the new system. Frankly unimpressed with the new system, even more so with the leader limit.

Been a while since this needed an update, glad we can work with our ruler a bit more on an offical level, but unless they still have more to cover, I think this is still an essential mod.

Seems like there're still lots of RNGs involved. I'll probably get rid of bad RNGs and/or let players handpick the traits they want. Hopefully, the new leader features will be mod-friendly.

From what I saw it's letting us customize our ruler, but not the govenor. So this mod would be reduced it what it does, but still relivant.

I am watching the feature video right now and it seems we will be able to customize our leader during empire creation and pick a trait on level up.
Even though this mod will probably be made redundant this is a big win. They picked up your idea.

I haven't been updating every new trait. Given the fact that PDX is releasing a whole new expansion focusing on leaders, this mod would either have to be overhauled or retired. We'll see in 2 weeks :)

Sorry for assuming the bug was with your mod and not base game... Completely clean install and it's still there.

(Hive mind authority getting access to righteous and iron fist) Your mod also allows them to get unifier but the three unity traits are the same trait with different names (they even work when you have the wrong one)

This mod does not touch leader pool generation. If a leader spawns in the leader pool with traits that shouldn't have been there, something else is messing it up.

I call on Paradox's own code to award the level up bonus trait to leaders, the usual restriction (set by Paradox) applies. Either the bug is caused by Paradox's own code, or other mod(s) modified/override the official scripted effect in your game.

I just booted up a game and tested, my first machine empire governor cannot select righteous nor iron fist. I also tested my other mod's edicts. The governors purchased did not have either these traits.

This mod allows for gesalts to have governer traits that they are not allowed to have (Including rolled for new leaders and gained from level up). Righteous has showed up a LOT and over half of my governors got iron fist despite it being impossible to have slaves.

The purpose of this mod was great and it did that perfectly. But this bug makes it more trouble than boon.

It doesn't work in 3.6.1, at the start of the game the selection menu doesn't show the options text properly, but the coded text. It is an excellent mod idea, please if it is possible to fix this error, that would be great

Just tuning in to report that this mod is working as intended with V3.5...although you will want to use it with a new game as it's a bit janky with advanced games.

Don't think the mod is functioning at the moment. When the unity rework patch is released, I will spend some time and fix my mods. I bought the last DLC and for some reason just can't bring myself to play it at all.

I'm curious, would it be possible to have a patch to allow you to choose more traits at the start? At some point anyway. Interested in that idea somewhat. Regardless, good mod.
