Does this still work?

As someone else said. A must have mod. If you're an empire bent on wiping out another empire. The war continues till one side or the other is gone. At least that's the way it should be. Instead you can be so nearly done with them when the game decides that they get to live cause screw what YOU wanna do.

Finally got around to updating the mod to work with the new launcher. Unfortunately I had to create a separate mod for it. There is no difference in the mods since it still works fine. The new mod is for people who hate seeing the incompatible warning.

Yeeeeeee !

A must have if you think the current forced peace system is bullshit (which it 100% is). It makes no fucking snese that you can controll all the enemy systems, won all space battles and lost not a single ship and you'll still lose the war because fuck you, that's why.
Bluegills 15 Jul, 2019 @ 8:06am
Still works for all those wondering.
@AtRealJohnHelldiver 20 Apr, 2019 @ 4:37pm
I will test this, I lost a war(well lose not an important starbase) due to an forced ai peace, I am triggered right now on this game, but I guess it was my fault since I was fighting a war on 5 fronts

I haven't looked at the ini files for a while but I don't think they've changed the setting so it should still work if that is the case.
kinngrimm 29 Mar, 2019 @ 5:39am
after haven't played since 1.9, i am now quite anoyed with white peace, any chance for an update for 2.2.6 or does it still work?

"AI that is fairly equal to each other can be locked in perpetual war making it impossible to generate a subjugate or vassalize casus belli."

Well this is a time where you fish for a goldfish and you catch a barracuda.

I can't vassalize anyone
Gerfster  [author] 27 Feb, 2018 @ 6:15am
Yep, it will make this mod obsolete. I'm looking forward to the update and changes!
Mike 27 Feb, 2018 @ 3:23am
Paradox have now said they are removing forced peace and bringing in penalties when still at war at 100% exhaustion. These are 0 influence and unity as well as 20% pop unhappiness
Ventriloqussy 26 Feb, 2018 @ 12:55am
This mod wasn't the mod we deserved
But it was the one we needed
Thank you
donkeyrider 25 Feb, 2018 @ 10:52pm
THANK YOU
Archemyre 24 Feb, 2018 @ 1:42pm
Awesome, thank you!

Archemyre 24 Feb, 2018 @ 1:11pm
Then would I aslo be able to use one that slows the rate of war exhaustion?
Gerfster  [author] 24 Feb, 2018 @ 1:08pm
Potent Rebellions Expanded mod would be compatible with my mod. However I haven't changed any of the growth rates for War Exhaustion so you might end up with a lof debuffs if your war drags on. Vanilla 2.0 has it reach 100% war exhaustion very quickly.
Archemyre 24 Feb, 2018 @ 12:57pm
Would this be compatible with the stuff from Potent Rebellions Expanded? He's added a script or something that adds unrest and related penalties the higher your war exhaustion gets.
Wet Dog Squad 24 Feb, 2018 @ 12:49pm
At first I didn't think I would need this, and then my neighbor captured one of my systems, and then forced a white peace immediately after.

They got to keep the system.
Grace the Mace Gaming 24 Feb, 2018 @ 12:40pm
i fucking love you
Gerfster  [author] 24 Feb, 2018 @ 12:05pm
Updated the mod, so it only changes the variable needed for this to function instead of replacing the whole 00_defines file. It should now be compatible with any mod that doesn't alter the status quo exhaustion variable.
Zomgrofl 24 Feb, 2018 @ 4:13am
Thank you.
